Defective Bulbs And Very Poor Customer Service

I bought 9 LED bulbs and within a year 8 had failed. Lightrabbit were good about replacing the failed bulbs but after 8 had failed including at least one of the replacements I'd had enough and requested a refund, which they agreed to so I returned the bulbs as requested and bought replacements from another supplier. However having returned the bulbs the refund didn't arrive, and they spend the next 2 months refusing to provide the refund with a whole range of excuses including, some unspecified clause in the T&Cs, saying they would only provide a replacement or credit note not refund (no use to me since I'd already bought replacements), saying I would need to return the bulbs for assessment before a refund could be considered (I already had returned them), asking repeatedly what type of dimmer I was using (implying they had failed due to me using the wrong type) despite the fact I'd said several times I was not using a dimmer, and none of the previous lower output bulbs had failed in the previous 7 years. Eventually they did agree again that they would provide a refund but there were then another 2 months of delay and excuses before the refund arrived. Excuses included Paypal rejected the refund as it was over a year ago, we need 2 directors to approve it and they are on holiday for the next 2 weeks, we've sent it (when actually they had just sent the request to the director and it never got approved), we've sent it but it will take 5 working days (when actually it was stuck internally again and the payment system is instant). It took 10s of phone calls and emails from me to get them to eventually pay up which was a huge waste of my time. I will never use Lightrabbit again.

Poor Untrustworthy Company

I purchased 6 five foot led tubes from light rabbit and after a short while one of them failed to light on half the tube. They sent a replacement which arrived bent. Not only that but the tube was a totally different design and did not match the other five. They refused to send out another so I only have 5 out of six tubes working and cannot get a matching sixth one. I called, emailed and wrote to them and they ignored me all because the tubes are obsolete now. I will have to take them all out and replace them with six matching units again.

I opened the faulty one and found it to be of very poor quality and the electrical joints are very poor to say the least. The tubes are made in China and they can be brought in from China at half the price!!! I would not recommend this company or their products.

Confidence Trickster Company Do Not Use

This Company are Confidence Tricksters they have a website that looks the business they give vouchers for discounts which looks good, then once goods are ordered and if you receive them they are either inferior or faulty.

Faulty goods have to be returned to Jersey Channel Islands or if you decide the goods are inferior and want to return them for refund then they go back to London, however they say that the goods are not received back at their warehouse in which case no refund due.

I sent goods back via courier they say they never received them even though the courier company have a signature for them (which they have sent me a copy of) and the courier company can prove it was delivered to the correct address, Lightrabbit are refusing to refund me.

I have sent two recorded delivery letters to the CEO, one to Jersey and one to London both letters refused and returned to me

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL LOOSE MONEY BECAUSE THEY ARE CONFIDENCE TRICKSTERS.

Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!

Was promised delivery within 2-3 days, one week later when goods haven't been received, my enquiry was deemed as bad language?? And the director, yes director put the phone down on me!!!

I still haven't recieved the goods and am now stuck.

In 20 years of business they are the most unprofessional and rude staff I have spoken to.

I totally agree with this review I have had a similar experience they are a company that do not follow proper procedure, they take your money supply inferior goods, and do not give refunds when due. I will be taking this company to court to get my money back DO NOT USE THEM

Great Company - Helpful Staff

I had a wonderful experience using this company. The products are good and the customer care is second to none. The products were delivered promptly and they were well packaged. If I have any issue it would be that the it took a a few hours for my email enquiry to be replied to but this is still well within expectations for a busy company.

I had a look at some of the other bad reviews and it appears that the bad reviews are being left by the same person over and over again. Please don't let this put you off.

Therefore you do not have the same legal cover (Consumer Goods act /small claims etx etc) and they are not covered under the Data Protection act.

It seems this company is a small start up run by young inexperienced people that have CS skills. Shocking how this is allowed to happen.

There are plenty of other companies providing cheaper good, good customer support and UK based.

I was left out of pocket, but I have reordered from another supplier and had my faith restored.... there are some really good companies out there but not LEDRABBIT.... I hope this is not typical of the type of generation we are turning out of education system today.

I think you will find that they are regulated by the Jersey Data Protection Act which is enforced even more so than the UK equivalent.

Non Receipt Of Goods

Avoid. Promise A Lot, Deliver Nothing.

Ordered two types of common LED replacements for halogen bulbs. Website looks good - designed to inspire confidence. Promises include 'Same day despatch', 'no quibble refunds', 'free telephone helpline'. Shame none of it functions.

Website happily accepted my order late on a Wednesday - proudly boasting of same day despatch for orders before 3pm or next day despatch for after. I paid extra for premium delivery so was expecting delivery on Friday or Saturday. Nothing. By Monday morning they had managed to send me four spammy 'buy more' emails but no bulbs. I checked progress and order and was still showing 'pending'. I emailed customer support and was told the bulbs were on back order - "expected on or before Wednesday 18th" - although the website was continuing to promise same day despatch on the same items - who needs honesty eh? I decided it was more hassle to cancel than wait so I waited - expecting despatch on Wednesday 18th. On Thursday 19th order still showing as 'pending'. I tried to phone the 'free helpline' twice an hour apart - no answer. I tried to phone customer services for a refund, twice, an hour apart. No answer.

I've now requested a refund by email. Avoid - dishonest marketing and a waste of time.

Great Lamps And Customer Service

I got the 60 SMD GU10 modle to change the bulbs in my kitchen which my wife keeps switched on most of the day. The lamps arrived next day and were packaged well. The may appear more expensive than just getting some replacement halogens but with a few calculations I worked out that these will pay for them selves within 3 months and as they last such a long time I will also save on petrol costs to go buy more when they blow!
