Modern day fraud – can’t believe they are getting away with it! If you are being robbed even before buying, then what do you expect their after care to be!

Terrible Product Worse Service

Ordered tv it came quickly but had several faults. Chromecast did not function, internet connection kept dropping out and colours did not display correctly.

Long story short when I tries to return tv they kept telling me I should be dealing directly with the manufacturer. Which is incorrect, it took me 11 weeks to get my money back after many emails reminding and correcting incorrect information given by their staff regarding thier responsibilities regarding the consumer rights act.

Terrible service, would not deal with this company ever again.

Superb TV at the lowest price I could find, delivered on-time, excellent service - great buying experience. I was concerned that it was so cheap there must be a catch! However, apart from it being delivered by only one man (It's BIG) I could not fault any aspect of the service, and the TV quality is stunning. 4X is pointless right now when there is no content and most shows will look worse! Clever buyers will buy this HD TV and get stunning pictures.

Terrible Customer Service

Be very careful with this company. I purchased a Sony wireless surround sound system that was not as described. From the moment I contacted customer services, they were simply awful. They agreed eventually for me to send the product back only to then say that it was marked and there would be a 15% re-stocking fee. I have now taken them to court to reclaim my costs and will keep you up to date but cheaper is not always best. Be warned.

Excellent

I phoned Direct TVs to check stock before buying on-line. The chap on the other end of the line was very helpful, confirmed stock and took my order over the phone. Two days later the TV arrived at our home in Dublin. Very happy with our purchase.

A complete contrast to previous my buying experience at PC World/Currys. Next time I am looking at buying electronic goods I will definitely be looking to DirectTVs.

Don't Do The Finance Option!

I really wanted a new tv found one on this website but went for the finance option. I had the 10% deposit for the tv taken out of my bank account before I was accepted even though the website states that no money will be taken unless accepted and the paperwork signed. I was declined for finance but I checked my bank and that's when I found out that they had taken £65.99 out of my bank I phoned them and I was told that I wouldn't be getting my money back for another 24 to 48 hours!

I think it's really wrong to do this as I was declined but money was taken so I'm now out of pocket and have no new tv either.

So please be aware if you decide to purchase from this company and do finance maybe I was unlucky but I have not read too many great reviews as it is I wish I had to looked into it more and the finance I did was buy now pay later and it is a very lengthy process.

I am now looking else where for a new tv.

Cant Deliver Even When Promised

Called up to order a tv on the 17th december asked if they could get a delivery to me before chrismas they gave me a date of the 21st useing hi-ways express delivery company sent a text to say it would be here on the 21st didnt arrive in the time window tried to call them but the phone rang once then hung up ... tried to find another number but instead found lots of bad reviews about this company .. called up directtvs the next day they told me to contact the delivery company gave me an alternate number although this should have been delt with by them managed to get through to the delivery company "Hi im sorry were really busy at the moment can i call you back" got that responce every time i rang up called between both companies several time to find out that the item should have been delivered but they could not get intouch with the depot to find out why it had not been delivered or where the tv had gone (tried to get the to give me a refund so i could go out an buy it at £100 more from currys but they could not give a refund unitll it was back in the warehouse) called back on xmas eve to the delivery company to get told it would not be here untill the new year... so ive told them to send it back to directtvs

and ofc trying to get my money back will be into the new year

im gutted over this enitre thing if only i had read the reviews from this site first instead of the reviews showing up on the google search

The staff were not rude but i was getting brushed off them

Daylight Robbers

Apart from the fact that they are not competitive in prices as they advertise, their customer services are at least terrible. Just marketing nonsense, lots of apologies and no action. They have arranged themselves an item return with next day delivery. Ten days so far and the item has been left somewhere in a warehouse. No need to say that the word refund is unknown to them. The also operate with courier companies that are also known as daylight robbers. Think twice before you place an order with them.

They Have One Of The Lowest Prices On The Net, But

They have one of the lowest prices on the net, but their customer service is beyond belief. Bought an HDMI TV with none of the HDMI ports working , so we returned it after Sony technical helpline gave up on finding the fault and since the TV was still brand new. The TV was sent back at the beginning of January. DirectTvs then took 2 weeks and a LOT of chasing to test the TV, then claimed that they 'have tested everything and it works' and so they will be charging me an additional £75 to send the tv back to us, which includes a fee for the testing. Next thing I knew, I received an email saying that the TV is going to be sent back to me the next day - no consulting me, no checking that someone's going to be in to receive it, nothing. So I contacted them again, and they basically maintained that they have checked again and they're returning the tv to me. Having no option but to take their word for it, I arranged for it to be sent on Tuesday 1st February.

This seemingly simple process seems to be too complex for their customer services team. Like a lot of people, I work full time so I had to make arrangements with my employer to get the day off to wait for the delivery. Long story short, they have failed to deliver the TV on 3 separate occasions, with problems ranging from mix-up in their warehouse, Parcelforce didn't pick up on time, delivery van getting into an accident while picking up, etc. So now, a month after returning the TV, I'm out of £600, I have a faulty TV (with their difficulty in arranging a simple delivery, I very much doubt that they have the capability of testing a tv!) that's gone missing, and I'm running out of annual leave - all thanks to Direct TV and their OUTSTANDINGLY, ABYSMALLY DISMAL customer services team. I will be making a formal complaint and taking this further with the Trading Standards. Think twice before using this website.
