Don't Buy X5
I'm also in the same situation bought the x5 steam mop on some sort of promotion didn't hardly use it but when I did it took ages to come on and then would start on its on!! The steam then starting to come out of the dial and the gap in the plastic so I threw it down before the steam burnt me. I have had 3 of these now and have never worked so I would not recommend buying this or from this site. Thane direct who also make the x5 have told me this is a fake different colour button, weight etc .

Bought steam mop this year, it has worked for 6 months, try to get in contact with this so call AUSTEN LEWIS to ask for refund or exchange, no answers to my problem, been trying to contact them for other a month, but the only email I get back is we pass it onto customer services in 73 hours waits a week, still no reply.
EVEN THOUGH THE DEALS ARE GOOD I WOULDNT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO GET HELP IS VERY POOR!
THEY DONT GIVE YOU A NUMBER TO RING!
There's a theme developing here, I also purchased the steam mop, it worked for 10 months and has now given up the ghost. Can't find any contact details for Austen Lewis, and the email I had has been sent back as not obtainable

We are in the same situation as everyone else, we brought the mop it worked and now gets very hot and doesn't work.. Voucher won't do nothing etc etc. Perhaps it would be an idea to make contact with everyone who has experienced the same thing and to then approach trading standards, and perhaps contact that tv programme that lists all the things about poor customer service.... maybe then we would all get our money back or an ending to this entire situation.

5 In 1 Steam Mop
I ordered 4 of the above mops, which took well over a month to arrive, then when I got to use the mop the lead started to smoke and the mop blew up.
I returned this to Austen Lewis along with my address to return a new mop to and still to this day I am yet to receive my replacement, I have been emailing the company months as there are no contact numbers.

Terrible Service Faulty Steam Mop
I ordered the X5 steam mop from Austin Lewis/Discount Vouchers - it is FAULTY and they don't ever reply to any emails regarding a repair/refund - its disgusting and they need to be taken to trading standards. Do not ever use them.

I purchased a steam mop like other people on here and I am having the same problems. I have emailed discount vouchers and Austen Lewis but to no avail. A dreadful company, I waited 6weeks for delivery and now this steam mop is not working.

I spent £40 to buy the steam mop from discount vouchers. on ordering from Austen Lewis had to pay £10 delivery. I then found that they had taken £159 from my account so this stupid mop cost almost £200. I emailed almost daily to ask for refund and also to discount vouchers. I have not had one single reply. This has been going on since Nov 12. I even collated all my emails and sent the complaint by post. Still nothing. I then returned the mop but it was sent back to me as address i sent it to would not accept it. I am £200 out of pocket with no acknowledgment from either company. Can anyone suggest what I can do next. Maybe we could all get together and sue. HELP

Absolute Rubbish...avoid Like The Plague
Ordered 5 in 1 mop in November 2012. Had to chase up several times, eventually received late January.
It worked ok for about 6 weeks then leaked and cut out. Unuseable.
Just getting standard replies to my emails, and no response at all to refund request.....
I did eventually get a refund from Discount Vouchers .com, through whom I had bought the mop, minus the postage cost and the cost to me to send it back.
I haven't bothered getting anything from them since........

Contact Because Of Faults
I order the steam cleaner in late November but it did not come until late January, it then started to leak after a few times. I have tried and tried to contact Austen Lewis by email but all I get is a reply saying someone would call me in the next three days but no one does.
I will never use them again because of the service and fault goods.

Disgusted Beyond Words!
Reading everyone's reviews, it sounds as though there is a common theme here...
I too bought the 5 in 1 steam mop via Discount Vouchers for £39.99 plus £9.99 p+p in November. Austen Lewis then took several weeks to deliver, which I had to chase twice before I received it. Upon building the steam mop, the mop handle was broke and therefore it couldn't be used (the quality of the product did appear very poor so I am not surprised it was broken!)
Since mid December, I have sent many emails to the company asking for a replacement but like everyone else, I have had no reply. I can't even ring them as they have no telephone number. I then emailed Discount Vouchers and they too didn't reply. It's an utter joke that I haven't even had a reply from either company. It makes you think, do the companies even exist? They are obviously very dodgy!!
I am now at a complete loss as what to do as I am now left with an unusable mop as the part that is broken can't even be cellotaped together! It looks like I will have to buy another mop now, but this time I will buy one in store rather than using a discount website or a company like Austen Lewis.
Message to others...DO NOT USE Austen Lewis, or Discount Vouchers come to think of it! I certainly won't!
Anybody any ideas where to go next with this? Have people gone to trading standards?

Ordered Video Camera 29.12.12 via Discount Vouchers which provided link & coupon to Austen Lewis who should have charged £5.99 postage & packing but a company called Gadgets and Products took £105.98 from my credit card. Numerous Emails but no response. I sent Email cancelling my order and asking for refund of all monies paid on 4.2.13 but no response. Video Camera delivered by Royal Mail 15.2.13. I have requested return details from Austen Lewis website but am not hopeful,so I will return anyway to address on label. Discount vouchers did refund my money at the 2nd attempt. I found that if you left a message on their number they did callback. My bank has refunded the payment to Gadgets and Products. Needless to say I will not deal with any of these companies again.
