Have This Company Gone Bust With My Money
is it true that this company have gone bust
The owner of this company is Peter Hoban, well known Leeds businessman, who drives an aston martin and lives the millionaire lifestyle - but owes money to everyone.
Lives in Yeadon, and drinks around Horsforth.

I ordered a hotpoint washer off them 4 weeks ago, i was blagged along for 3 weeks saying they were out of stock etc, then that hotpoint had re called them due to a fault, and i cancelled my order on the 29th july 2011, the guy i spoke to on the phone said money would be back on my card in 5 days, well 5 days was up today and no money, just rang them to see whats goin on and was told they have gone into liquidation.
so now i am really p****d off and £300 out of pocket unless i can get a chargeback on my debit card.
This may be the case, Found out that i had paid for an extended guarantee with a cooker i had bought from them but they never paid the insurance company. now i have a broken cooker and no guarantee

Jual Agreed That I Could Return A Fridge Freezer A
Jual agreed that I could return a fridge freezer at a charge of £35 which the immediately took from my account on the 25/01/11 and it was collected on the 28/01. I waited several weeks and no refund was forthcoming. I have been given excuses after excuses why I haven`t had my money back. I phoned 7 days ago and they apoligised and said it would urgently and I would get it within 48 hours. I phoned 3 days ago and they say the bank had rejected payment and he susposedly credited my debit card there and then and again said it would be in my account within 48 hours. I still have not got my money. If they cannot refund £260 what state is their finances? Avoid this company like the plague!

Like Many I Ignored The Bad Reviews And Went For A
Like many I ignored the bad reviews and went for a bargain but as you will read countless times below these bargains simply don't exsist, order placed 3 months ago, £700 taken immediately and continual promise of delivery but never recieved. Order cancelled today so time will tell if and when I get money back. Buyers beware they are certainly proffesional and courteous on the phone but regrettably have a bigger call centre than they do stock room.

Buyers Beware - They Hold Very Little Of The Items
Buyers beware - they hold very little of the items they advertise in stock. You place your order - they take your money instantly!! You then find out that the items are not in stock and that they will contact you with a delivery date once they are in - this can take anything up to 3 months (I wish that I was kidding). In the end I cancelled the order as I got fed up with spending 15 minutes trying to get through and never having e-mails replied to. It then took over 1 month to receive a refund - which was not correct and for less than I originally paid even though I had received no goods. Taking action against them through my credit card company to retrieve the outstanding amount.
I have since ordered from another online retailer (well know high street chemists on-line appliance warehouse) - experience couldn't have been more different. Constant updates - products all in stock and delivery within 48 hours to an area of your choice in the house - unwrapped and packaging removed and taken away.
Needless to say I would never, ever use Jual Domestics again - they are a shockingly bad company and I have no idea how they manage to score above 2 stars as an 'average' review. Read all the bad comments and then think about how you want to spend your hard earned cash.

I Ordered Two Items On 4th December And Only One O
I ordered two items on 4th December and only one of them arrived. Customer service was impossible to get through to on the phone, when you do get through they often cut you off. They don't always reply to e-mails and didn't seem to make any effort to chase up my order and keep me informed. After waiting almost two months and wasting a lot of my time, I have cancelled the order, ordered it from a different website on Monday and it arrived on Tuesday morning!

I Ordered A Washing Machine In November But In Spi
I ordered a washing machine in November but in spite of the price stated 'as delivered' it was for collection only. I canceeled the machine and then agreed to the charge as it was very competitive,however in spite of statements on the website to the contrary, Jual Domestics were unable to deliver here in Central London unless it was before 7am. I cancelled the machine entirely.
Jual gave me a credit for the first machine cancelled and then paid a refund on the delivery of the second machine, but not for the machine itself.
In spite of several phone calls and emails that are never returned (with the exception of one with a very lame excuse, I am still awaiting my refund SIX weeks later and some kind of an explanation...My recommendation - Stay well clear!

I waited over 2 months for a dishwasher and washing machine. I also paid to have my old appliances removed which they did NOT do.

While The Prices Were Great, The Availability Was
While the prices were great, the availability was rubbish with no indication on the website.
When I called I was advised the items were out of stock and delivery would be in two weeks, this was followed by 9 weeks of having to chase them until the items were eventually delivered.
Calling is painful as the phone often rings out, is not answered or even has the out of hours message left on.
However, as the goods have been (eventually) delivered I would not call the company dishonest but for me to use them again they would have to make huge changes to their customer service offer.
To conclude - by all means use these guys but be prepared for some pain!

Ordered A Fridge Freezer, Washing Machine And Extr
Ordered a fridge freezer, washing machine and extractor hood from them in November - they took the money on my credit card (roughly £1400) that same day. I then contacted them to verify my address (a requirement of their terms and conditions to prevent fraud apparently) and was told that the fridge freezer was no longer in stock and that I could choose another if I wanted. I asked for a refund as I was not near a computer to see any other models of fridge freezer. The following day I phoned up as I had seen another fridge freezer similar that they had as a stock item - they took my credit card details and processed roughly the same amount again (£1400)apparently they couldn't switch the order?- unfortunately it took them over 28 days to process the original refund (and I had to get my credit card company involved also). Needless to say it is now 2 months later and I am still waiting for delivery of the washing machine, fridge freezer and extractor hood ordered in November 2010. Despite countless phonecalls (you will be on hold for at least 10 - 15 minutes) and numerous e-mails I have still received no confirmation of a delivery date or even response to my basic enquiries. I am now making a complaint to trading standards as the way in which they operate is awful. I wish that I had seen the reviews on here before ordering because I would have steered well clear. Glad I paid with my credit card as I can take action through them to recover my losses. I would advise anyone using this company to ensure they pay with their credit card at the very least. Yes their prices ar great - but the customer service is sadly non-existent and most people don't want to wait several months for household appliances to be delivered after they have paid for them.

jual domestics deliverd me a dishwasherthat was found to be faulty. They took 3 weeks to send out a repair man who on arrival did not have the necessary equipment to do the repaid. He said he would have to order parts and come back and was unable to confirm when. We therefore wnet back to Jual and asked them what they were going to do. After lenghty correspondence, they came and collected the dishwasher. this was on 6 December 2010. I still have not had my money refunded that is over 6 weeks ago. I call that stealing.
