Customer Happiness First
Company Name: Austin Bizmart
Nature of Business: Sells used commercial kitchen equipment, auto and shop equipment, janitorial equipment, and others.
There aren't a lot of Austin Bizmart Reviews online so I decided to make one. I have been a regular customer for over a year now and have developed some amount of friendship with the owner, Iverson. I don't usually become friends with people I do business with but Iverson has managed to build his business around two values that I happen to appreciate very much, honesty and service.
Honesty
My first purchase was over a year ago for a tire changer. It was more than $2,000 but I couldn't make a trip to Austin where their warehouse is located. Iverson sent me a video of the product. He shot every angle, every inch, every corner. He tested it and recorded it.
What struck me was that he also detailed the damage of the equipment. He showed me what was wrong, told me how it should be repaired and how much it will cost me.
He also offered a computation on how much I will be saving if I purchase a new one as opposed to buying a used one. He considered everything, including the number of years I can use this one as opposed to a brand new ones.
He also sent me information on who owned it so I could do my own background check had I wanted.
He was very open and very honest. It was something I never encountered before. Austin Bizmart is the very first online shop I dealt with that was that honest.
Customer Happiness First
That didn't end there. Iverson felt I was still not confident enough to buy something I haven't seen in person. So, he offered several names of suppliers that were near my area that my have the same product available.
It was unbelievable to me.
Why would someone refer to a customer another business? He said that although he does want to make a sale, the business is built on customer service and when push comes to shove, customer happiness wins.
I have since then purchased 5 more products from him and I have never been disappointed. Whatever information he gives me, I know it will be accurate and complete.
Needs Improvement
If there is anything I want him to improve on, it would be the design of the site. I just feel it could use some sophistication. They sell big ticket items, it should feel and look very professional.
