I went into the store to look for advise & was intending to buy\hoping to buy an on-road Electric R/C car. I spoke to the guy who was serving (Hainault Branch) and he was a little abrupt in his answers. At first I ignored this. Then some other customers came into the store. They were talking and overheard the conversation I was having asking for information. They then began speaking to me about what models are good\maintenance etc. At this point the shopkeeper went ballistic and started being aggressive with them and myself saying that he doesn't want them speaking to me or me speaking to them. I left the store and one of the other customers came out to continue the conversation, at this point the shopkeeper came out and started shouting at him. Absolutely crazy. Do not use this guy is a clown!

I would not suggest going to Al's Hobby Shop unless you've already called in advance and you know for a fact that they have what you require to get your vehicle working again. Parts ordered through the shop can take 1 - 4 weeks and, ordering online takes a few days at the most, and is far cheaper.

The advice you will get from the store is brand specific to what they carry, and they don't tell you about better parts if they don't sell it.

Very over priced merchandise. The store is great for buying things like fuel, or little things.
