Second Hand Battery Sold As New
I purchased a new battery for my Bose sound system and a UK charger for the same.
When it arrived the battery was obviously second hand and dead the charger did not work.
Absolutely no joy from them with regard to refund can't even get an address to send back.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM YOU WILL BE SORRY!!
Diabolical
What a joke of a company, ordered a refurbished laptop when it finally arrived after 7 days it was scratched and scraped with no operating system, hard drive corrupted and faulty partions so unable to install anything and to add insult to injury the joke of a customer service agent refused to even discuss the problems or offer to rectify then so I've paid out £400 for a beaten up laptop that does not work. Avoid this company at all costs, you've been warned!!!

Sold Me Something They Don't Have
I bought a laptop with guaranteed next day delivery
They called the next day to say price had increased by £15, and did I still want it.
I agreed, but it still didn't arrive. It seems they were out of stock, despite selling it to me initially, AND guaranteeing they had new stock when they called.

Tried To Charge Extra
Sale was completed but next working day, they called me and wanted to add £25 to the price as they had oversold and could only get new stock at a higher price.

I Ordered My Lenovo X61 Laptop With Next Day Deliv
I ordered my lenovo x61 laptop with next day delivery, I phoned laptopshop to confirm the delivery method, they assured me i would receive it by next day. I did not receive it for the next 3 days, as they had not dispatched the item until 2 days after I had placed the order. I asked for compensation or refund on the shipping as I needed this laptop urgently. They said they would refund £1.09 of the £12.99 shipping !
Further the laptop came with the wrong operating system ! and it had the wrong cables sent with it. Immidiatly I phoned laptopshop back to send the replacement cables. After 40 minutes of speaking with someone that doesn't know a thing about laptops she told me to call another business that deals with the warranty of the laptop.
I then returned the laptop back to them and asked for full refund.
Customer Service is dreadful, it is not worth buying anything from here.

Be Very Aware Regarding Unwittingly Agreeing To La
Be very aware regarding unwittingly agreeing to laptop insurance of £7.99 per month.
They offer "free insurance" for one month.
By agreeing to buy the laptop you are signing up for insurance of £7.99 a month.
You will propably not be aware of this until you receive subsequent statements from your credit card card company.
How many people click on the "free insurance" icon on their website?
It is true all the terms and conditions are there, but the only way you can cancel the isurance is to contact the insurance company after one month.
I thought that some of the airlines were adept at extracting money from customers by dubious means. Maybe this company should offer lessons to our friends in the airline industry.

Avoid This Lot Like The Plague!! I Boug
Avoid this lot like the plague!!
I bought a net book in June 2010 from these people. The net book was pretty good and did work quite well (good internet access, software loaded etc) but from the outset the battery supplied would never charge. The customer services explained by email how to reset the battery but this still did not work.
So far I have had 2 refurbed batteries and one apparently brand new one which obviously is the wrong one for this lap top as it won't sit flat on a table. They were provided by them FOC but still the lap top only works whilst plugged into the mains (whats the point of that?).
I recieved a returns notice to send it back for repairs (postage at my own cost) and it still came back with exactly the same fault.
Because it was obvious that they cannot repair it I asked for a full refund. Now they are ignoring my emails completely (normally they are very slow at best). This is now January 2011
During this time I also had insurance taken from my credit card total of £24 - 3 months worth of wasted insurance and money which I did not want.
I am still trying to get a refund for the laptop and am considering making a claim through the small claims court online and reporting them to trading standards.
Do not buy anything from this website - that is my advice - even pay more from a reputable retailer rather than risk it with this lot.
