No Order
I placed an order of £40 at the Republic website before I knew it went into administration, its been more than a week and I fear my delivery will not arrive. I've asked in-store what to do and the workers told me to phone customer services. What should I do?
Bad Services ....
I place on order on 15/02 for next Day delivery,,,,I haven't receive it yet but you Take money from my account!!!what Shall I do???please advise ASAP

For many years I have been shopping at Republic for all of my family. At Christmas I purchased £200.00 worth of vouchers for my student daughters. Now that they have gone into administration they are worthless. I find it unbelievable that shops can take your money for these things and not return either the cash or give you goods to there value. The shop assistant in Aberdeen did advise me to contact the Customer Services line, but low & behold no answer. The government needs to put a stop to this kind of thing.
Read This If They Owe You Money
Republic really are the lowest of the low. Over the years I've spend thousands with them. Recently, few weeks ago, I placed an order of £250 (which I've received) and last week an order of £105 (not received).
They marked my £105 order as "dispatched" and even provided a tracking number - but never actually shipped the goods. They do this so that they can charge your card - knowing FULL WELL you will not receive the goods.
As for my earlier £250 order (which I did receive) I have a couple of items to return (but I'll be damned if I do because I wouldn't trust them in a million years to refund me!)
IMPORTANANT: If you paid by credit card they will refund you. Legally credit card companies HAVE TO to refund for orders between £100 and £30,0000 (however many credit card companies do cover you for lower value items too - so MAKE SURE YOU CONTACT THEM if you order was below £100.)
If you paid by debit card.... good luck getting your money back.... However if they've traded illegally (like they have with me - charging my card - knowing I won't get my goods) then perhaps you should get on to Trading Standards (and make sure you let Republic know you are aware of their wrong doing)
I've also hear that people are not allowed to use their gift vouchers in-store either - unbelievable!

Im writing as a very antagonised client to ask about my unused gift voucher that I received at Christmas. I think that it is absolutely ridiculous that you will not allow customers to spend their recently bought gift vouchers. You haven't give your customers enough notice to spend them,it's disgraceful. I am extremely upset with your poor customer service. Im sure you have many exasperated customers to deal with,but £50 is a extensive amount of money to just lose to you. Therefore, I would love you to consider,either returning me my money or letting me spend it in one of your stores. Please respond as soon as possible, thank you.
Administration, Will I Get My Order?
I ordered a item yesterday from republic before I knew it had gone into administration. The goods have not been delivered but the money taken from my account. I have no tracking reference or confirmation e-mail. What should I do now? I cannot find an e-mail address for customer service online, if anybody has one could they please post it.
try calling your local store - i called mine and they said it will definitely be delivered - but the process is just slower than usual because there are less people etc. i'm going to wait hope you find yours!

I ordered a dress yesterday from republic before I knew it had gone into administration, I went to track my order but the website is now down. It was also for next day delivery (should be here now) and it isnt. Will I receive my item? What do I do?
I have done he same, ordered jeans yesterday for delivery today, and they have not arrived - I want my money back!
same here guys order never delivered and silence from them, call your bank and let them know that you want a charge back to your debit card, if you used a credit card then call the relevant company, there is a procedure you need to do but the bank will explain that as they have to me. there is still a chance to get your order, but you have to go into a republic store and see if they can trace it for you and if not then try and get a refund from them. The bank needs a notice of insolvency and proof of purchase. (if you cant get a response on email from republic go into a store and ask for one from the manager - they are legally required to provide one to you).
What number did you call? Did they say that the couriers are refusing to deliver? How frustrating!
I have just spoken to customer services as i also ordered in store yesterday for next day delivery to be told i wont be receiving my delivery today and that i cant have a refund either.They are hoping to find more out in the next few weeks so to keep hold of my receipt. What an absolute joke my item was a Valentines present for my partner. Im so angry111.

Useless Customer Service
Ordered a jumper on 18th jan & never received it. Have emailed customer service numerous times & eventually got a reply saying it was delivered on 23rd jan by courier and left as authorised! I never authorised anything to be left. Eventually phoned customer services who suggested I check if it had been left with a neighbour which I had already advised them in an email that I had done this. Now saying they will have to speak to the courier firm & ask them to investigate. They will not refund my money so have paid for something I've never received! Will not be buying from them again
