Would Have Given 0 Start If I Could. Do Not Use This Company
I hardly write a review but this company should come with a warning sign!
I placed an order for a pair of safety shoes, a catering bandana and a few pairs of goggles. I did this on Friday or Saturday. By Tuesday I heard nothing so I emailed them to advise that I needed my items by Fri. The company then told me that a few items were out of stock. Items in stock were supposed to be dispatched on the same day (Tuesday) or the day after.
By Friday afternoon nothing turned up despite online tracking indicating that delivery would be done on that day. I was in a mad panic because my partner needed the shoes for her food hygiene-rating visit on Saturday. My partner telephoned the customer service and explained the urgency of the situation. The person she spoke to was asked to contact FedEx and called her/me back. She later told me FedEx turned up to deliver in the morning but nobody was there. We were at home in the farm yard ALL day since 6AM and our gate was opened all day. I simply said FedEx lied and I needed my items that day. The person I dealt with told me to drive to pick the items up 15 miles away despite my partner already having told her that I was unwell. She said if we did not pick the items up ourselves, FedEx would only deliver on Tuesday (last Monday was a bank holiday). I insisted that she made FedEx deliver ASAP. She promised to call me back. Until today I still have not heard from her or anyone from this useless and irresponsible company. She could have tried to get FedEx to deliver my stuff on Saturday not Tuesday!!!
My partner had to rush to Screwfix at 7AM on Saturday to buy another pair of safety shoes, wasting £40 for a pair of shoes that fit badly after already spent £90 plus on the pair that did not turn up on time.
Needless to say, I will NEVER EVER buy from this company again. I have since placed an order for five more pairs of safety shoes and other PPE items with another company who offers next day delivery with absolutely no problems this time.
You cannot trust a company who does not communicate or give a monkey about the negative impacts their irresponsibility can have on your business! The stuff from this company is not cheap, Customer Services is beyond a joke. They system is unreliable because they clearly could not tell you on their site if anything is really in stock. They cannot even bother tell you that they are waiting for items to be in stock either. This is one of the worst companies if not THE WORST COMPANY based on my experience. Stay well away from this pathetic company!!!

ordered from this company a couple of years ago after 7 days my item had still not arrived was told it was actually not instock and they were waiting for it to come back in they had took my money for it eventually got a refund was looking something a couple of weeks ago and thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt as they say I ordered my item on 25th November paid for it was told it would take 3-5 working days by the 7th December still had not received it when I eventually spoke to someone at mammoth surprise surprise the item was not in stock why advertise items in stock if there ACTUALLY not waste of time had to get a refund as need item asap

Excellent Company!
I've been looking around online for a pair of new boots for work and some trousers, and found these guys straight away. Their website was easy to use and I found what I wanted straight away, ordered and recieved them by the end of the week.
Ignore the negative reviews, I've not had any problems and i would deinfitely use them again when the time comes!

Promised Delivery Day Not Achieved
Having informed Mammoth Workware that I required my order (2 x Helly Hansen overalls) before the weekend for travel overseas and being promised the delivery would be on time, Friday. Order placed the Friday before.

When the goods had not arrived by midday I phone to inquire as to the delivery status.

The product was to promote my company in a new market place. Completely let down by these people. I've ordered many times online with other companies and this is the first time I have been let down, and at a time that was important to me.
If you are looking for a time critical delivery, think.

unfortunatley the tracking number dint work. but i dont think i can blame Mammoth for this.
So when i was getting a bit axious of where my clothing was. I called,, two signals later no que, no answering machine i was expidited buy a woman that was stright to the point. No mess, no fuss.
she promised to contact me about why the tracking number didnt work... and 2 hours later the delivery woman was honking outside my door..
I like when i dont need to do anything when i order. i placed order (didnt even write down the delivery adress) and stuff arrived as promised to my driveway..
everything was in stock and delivered according to order.
quite fast shipping for a the disance traveled, and as i payed with paypal i felt totaly safe about the payment.
before the delivery was made i was uneasy of why i didnt get a get some kind of login details or something, like many companies have. but now i have to admit that this sytem is way better because i never remember that type of login details anyway.. this is one problem less to worry about.
i will definatley use mammoth again .... and again ..

Can't Even Process An Order!!
Ordered 2 pair of Dickies Utility Trousers. Female staff members are rude including the manager. Can't type type their online orders up correctly so their warehouse ends up picking the wrong item and then you don't get a full reimbursement for having to return the wrong item. These people are making a shambles. They should show appreciation to their customers?!
Blamed it on their warehouse staff when it was the office staff that cocked up.
I was told delivery was always next day but it isn't.

Ordered on line thinking good price. Need overalls urgently. Despite resassurances and daily telephone calls, still not arrived. 2 weeks later. A frustrating experience. Have had to order a back up via Amazon.

Ordered items from mammoth the website was good so was the prices but it took two weeks to come, telephone serval times and was giving poor excuses to why the order was delayed I would use again but only if I was in no rush for my items

Ordering System Needs A Good Overhaul - Not Reliable
I ordered some items from this company and they never arrived because my paypal email address is not the one I check daily, more like every 3 months. So the order was not sent out because of some mismatch of addressess - my pay address did not match the delivery address.
But
I did email them days ago saying I had received no confirmation of my order and said I wanted to cancel, giving my name and address as there was no order number to speak of (well, in my paypal email address probably). But there was STILL no reply days later.
I phoned and that's when I found out that they use whatever email address is on your pay pal. My mistake but they could have replied to my email asking to cancel.
Didn't like attitiude of woman on phone 'helping' me. "Not sorry we never got back to you madam".
Ordering system needs an overhaul to prevent mistakes like this and the ones above. Really poor.
This is the issue with having multiple e-mail addresses I'm afraid :P I've had similar issues myself with other companies, it does happen, but you can't push the blame on the company as a whole.
"as there was no order number to speak of (well, in my paypal email address probably)" - This implies that you never actually checked your paypal e-mail account. My advice as a fellow consumer is to make sure that you use one e-mail address across all sites, this would stop any future confusion I'm sure :)
