Size And Quality Always Random
I like a lot of their clothes but the quality varies and the sizes are baffling. I feel like instead of designers they must just buy random lots of 'retro' clothes and stick their labels in. I think buying from a shopfront is the best bet- as cheap as their online sales can be unless you've tried the dress you never know what you're going to get. I've literally ordered styles that look identical to a dress I own only to be really disappointed with whats arrived.

Tooooo Slow Shipping (not Even Cheap One)
Every time I have ordered, they ship about ten days later. TEN DAYS!!!
Lousy returns. They do not offer at same price as shipping. You have to pay yourself. From my country a return cost 25 pounds or more. Other companies offer return for the same price as shipping. Often they have half the shipping price that Collectif has.
When ordering, you most often discover that the sizes are off. If you are a size 12, a 12 may be too big or too small. Of course they do not offer free change, you have to pay return ... (25 pounds, or more if there a several clothes).
I only order when I had a chance to test clothes somewhere, but did not buy then. And since shipping is too high (10 pound outside UK, when several others take 4-5 euro for both shipping and if you return) I never buy if it is not a sale (I would have bought to regular price if shipping and returns wasn't so completely off).
One more problem with your sizing is that if size 12 suits you in one model, you may need size 14 in another. So when you think you've figured out Collectif sizing, next time will be the same guessing.
I have to say I love that you give heights measures for each model. I am a tad over 6 feet, and have not gotten anything too short.
I would love waist measures also for each model since they differ from the main measurements chart.
I also would like free shipping when exchanging stuff that differ a size from the chart.

Worst Customer Service And Quality Item I Have Ever Bought!
I found their customer service to be utterly utterly dreadful in the mildest terms- had a £65 Strawberry cardigan of theirs which ran when I handwashed it and they would not replace it. In fact they blamed the 'handwash' (I was flabbergasted) for it having run and said I should've put it in the actual wash like instructions suggested. I know it would have run even more in the actual wash- The quality was dreadful. But they just refused to budge on it. I'm a vintage-model and I used to spend literally hundreds on their clothes a year but I wouldn't touch anything of theirs with a bargepole now after that frankly awful service. I had bad depression at the time so couldnt be bothered to fight it after 3 emails- but had I been in a better state I would have got legal on them to be honest.
I have heard of them doing this to a lot of other people too on the vintage facebook forums im a member of. Im not sure how they get away with it but I hope somebody sues them over consumer rights law at some point.

No Longer A Customer
I have been a customer of Collectif for years buying a lot from them but my recent experience was so awful I never will again. I bought a dress and when it arrived, the seam was completely unsewn on one side! Then two buttons feel off which attached the faux fur trim; this was all in the space of two minutes! Quality control at Collectif is clearly nil. Despite a nice initial email to them, I then had a nightmare returning it because the staff were so rude and I had to resort to reminding them of their legal responsibilities on faulty goods and mentioning the Small Claims Court. I've been a customer for many years spending a lot of money with them but I'll never buy from Collectif again. There was no compensation offered whatsoever and I had to be really tough with them to get a refund. They tried to get really high and mighty with me which is so poor given the quality of their goods and the fact that they twice tried to squirm out of their legal obligations. It was only my repeated threats of court action that finally got me a full refund compliant with their legal obligations. I've advised my friends to avoid them like the plague after my experience.

Shocking Service!!! Incompetent And Don't Answer Queries!!!
I placed an order with them and waited for their courier firm to get in touch. I sat at work and sure enough I had a text, your parcel will be delivered at 12.00 midday - I told them to leave in my safe place or at a more convenient time - this message was ignored and sure enough at 12.00 midday "we tried to deliver this parcel but you weren't in" - hmm wonder why!!! I then rearranged for it to be delivered to a shop and had to take time off for this, then I had a text on my day off (I had taken for this) "your parcel is delayed, it won't be delivered today please wait till tomorrow". I waited for the next day and had another text "your parcel cannot be delivered to your specified place", so then they sent it again to my home - which I didn't ask for, I messaged saying I wouldn't be in and rearranged - guess what-they still tried to deliver at the same time ignoring my message!!!. I emailed Collectif and called them, no answer!!! Totally and completely unacceptable, and all this from a supposedly "well known" brand, I think I will shop elsewhere, somewhere who doesn't treat their customers so shockingly poor. Not impressed at all -
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!

Terrible Customer Service
I ordered a dress to ware to a wedding, I git a delivery date so booked off some time from work to be in for the parcel. The day of the delivery I got an email saying they had not received the dress from the retailer. Over the last week I have emailed, face book messaged and tried to call the store all with no answer! Utterly apailing customer service! will never shop with them again!

Lovely Clothes, Shocking Service
I have bought a few items from this company, both online and in the Camden shop. Whilst I had a lovely experience in the shop, I've also had a number of problems with them.
Firstly, I tried to buy the Penny dress from the website. I had a code for 50% off and was really excited. Over 3 weeks later, the dress still hadn't arrived. I kept emailing and all they could say was that I had to wait. Eventually after much toing and froing they said they had no more of the dresses left and that they would refund me. I later went to the Camden shop to see they had tons of Penny dresses; personally I think they didn't want to honour my 50% voucher.
The shop, as I say, was fantastic and I cannot fault it. However, again I had issues with online customer service when the skirt I bought split open after 3 wears. I said I didn't have the receipt because I hadn't expected it to split open in a fortnight! They offered me an embarrassing 10% off code. Eventually they offered to refund me if I sent the skirt back to them: this was 3 weeks ago and still I have heard nothing back.
I think their customer service needs a lot of work, which is a shame when most of the clothes are so nice.

Avoid Or Be Very Very Careful!!
I purchased a coat in their online sale which was not sold out when I bought it. A week or more later I received another email to say it was out of stock. A mistake was made on the website or the website hadn't been updated. They gave me a credit note for the full amount which I said I would hang onto in case the coat came back in stock. I checked and checked it didn't. So asked for a refund. However they didn't refund back to my card I bought it from only into my Paypal account. I said I would like it back on my card they said they couldn't. Also there sizes are not great. XXS is a 6 which is tiny and their xs is an 8 which is a big :( Some nice looking items but unreliable sizes and not being able to trust that what you actually order is available is off putting. Also not returning the money to the card it was bought on is not fair.

I Will Never Buy From Collectif Again!!
Buy from anywhere else! Bought a dress for my mum, £5.50 delivery but it didn't fit. Collectif expect you to pay for recorded return but would cost me nearly £10 in total just for postage! Got proof of postage from Royal Mail but 4 weeks and Collectif STILL don't know where my parcel is as they have moved warehouses and everything is messed up. Customer services no help whatsoever. I would recommend shopping at Lindybop. Less than £3 for postage, all dresses £23 and when one didn't fit, I sent it back (same method as Collectif) and they swapped with FREE postage and I had my replacement within a week. My family all used to buy from Collectif but after many bad experiences and ridiculous postage costs, have started buying from eBay and other stores instead.
