Audi Turbo
A few months ago the turbo failed on my Audi a4 called up direct engines they arranged for my turbo to be picked up and brought to them for a free estimate they got back to me with a brilliant price also they told me why my turbo had failed and the steps it would take to rectify the problem been on the car for around 2 months now and not had a single problem since brilliant service and a great price. Would highly recommended these guys they know what there doing when it comes to turbos

Found out about Direct Engines from a friend of mine. Just purchased a turbo for my VXR, could not be happier with the customer service...actually visited the shop and the guys there could not be more helpful and knowledgeable.would highly recommend this company.

Transit Engine Sorted
My transit was ran dry of oil, these guy got my vehicle uplifted repaired my engine for me and got me back on the road, my vehicle also required a turbo but they called me and told me this before proceeding with the repair. Well happy with the service. Only giving a 4 star rating due to the time taken, was told 3 days but was more like 5-6 although this may have been down to the extra work required.

Bought an Audi a4 engine was really happy, taking me around 5 days to get but as I believe the company is really busy ( u don't walk into an empty barbers) had the engine 6 months and running fine would definitely recommend to friend!!!

Honesty Beyond Belief
had my mazda bongo cylinder head gasket done 3 weeks previous £280 all inclusive which was very good as apparently they are very hard to bleed ,I now have a great heater for the forthcoming winter. Two weeks later my sons fiesta st was recovered with according to the recovery mechanic a seized engine .I contacted Graeme at direct engines and he got the fiesta uplifted within 3 hrs assessed the vehicle and phoned me back to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the engine and that it was the alternator that was seized ,£240 later my son got his car back on the road,a box of chocs and a case of beer was swiftly dispatched to the boys with many thanks.ps ask for mini tour of workshop if any doubts ,when I was there they had just taken delivary of a new state of the art machine to test turbos at 120,000 rpm wow state of the art.

Engine plus he sold a good low mileage one . If one wants to
get engine don't look any where else these people know what they are
talking about

What Do They Do When Theyn Screw Up
Ordered Mercedes Engine. They shipped the wrong one and agreed they had.
They would not ship the correct part until they had collected the wrong engine, despite being paid and collecting exchange engine.
No escallation procedure, just broklen promises as to when the correct engine would be received.
A 48 hour process took 2 weeks. I felt there was no sense of urgency, no service, totally unhelpful.
Do not use if you are in a hurry.
Used them a year earlier , evrything worked then.
Maybe the recession is causing them problems with quality and they might be short staffed and the people dont care any more.
I beg to differ about the caring about your customers part!
Otherwise my smashed up parts would be getting paid for!

Despatch & Delivery Slow
Engine was good but the advertising of next day delivery didn't happen.
Took two days to be despatched. Definately not the quickest service.
When contacting the office about the delays they were slow to react and the guy in despatch didn't seem to have control or be aware of which engine was which. When I asked for the tracking no, they took 3hrs to find it out and then when I contacted the courier with it, it turned out that they'd given me the wrong one. Seemed rather disorganised.

Replacement Engine Sorted Problem
Great service well pleased will pass on the message fast reliable good service got an quote from the dealership far to expensive and here come Direct Engines less than third of the price and good warranty never been in a problem like this before but this company came through explained what my problem was and they helped and now i am back on the road thank you Direct engines.

I bought a reconditioned turbo from direct engines recently and i could not have been any happier with the product,the sales representative [name removed] not only found me the correct turbo but he gave me a detailed fault diagnostics on why my turbo went wrong in the 1st place. This is a top company with very helpful staff. Website allowed me to speak to staff before calling them.
