Cannot Stop Relentless Advertising Email

By the time you read this it will be too late! If you click onto their website you will, from then onwards, be bombarded with daily email advertising from them. You cannot stop this. If you click on the "UNSUBSCRIBE" box, nothing will happen. Instead the website has confirmation of your email address and will continue to bombard you with daily, incessant, email rubbish. My friends have admitted to this problem too. You cannot stop this even by labelling incoming mail as JUNK as Overstock deliberately changes its email heading address daily.

Horrible Business Experience And Customer Service

On 12/12/2017, I ordered a Marcato Atlas Red Stainless-Steel Biscuit Maker/Cookie Press from Overstock.com as a Christmas gift for my niece. Information on my Overstock.com account indicated that the order had been “filled” and purportedly “shipped” six days following the order, i.e., 12/18/2017. After this date, the only tracking information that I was ever to obtain from the Overstock.com and USPS websites was of the “alleged shipping date.” I never received any further tracking information from any source nor did I receive the ordered item. At this point, I contacted Overstock.com Customer Service numerous times to inquire about the lack of tracking information and the reason the item had not been received.

Several different Overstock.com Customer Service Representatives stated that the “information about my order” would be forwarded to the “appropriate department” for follow-up on the tracking information and missing item. No Overstock.com employee ever contacted regarding any actions taken in attempts to locate the missing item after my complaints. Then, information listed on this order on Overstock.com account showed that a return of the order had been initiated on two occasions followed by a cancellation of the order. I never requested that a return, refund, or cancellation be done for this order. This was done without any Overstock.com Customer Service Representative contact by e-mail or telephone to provide an explanation on the actions taken.

An Overstock.com Board of Directors Representative informed me that another item had been "set aside" in case the item that I ordered was not located. I never received the item despite “another one being set aside.” Even though the website indicated the item was in stock, my account being billed, and the item allegedly shipped, I was informed that Overstock.com had “made a mistake” with my order. For some odd reason, the order was fulfilled and “shipped” but it was out-of-stock at the time of the order. Despite speaking with four different Overstock.com Customer Service Representatives on “Live Chat” and a Board of Directors representative via e-mail, not one of them discovered nor informed that the order was out-of-stock when placed. I have never encountered such apathy and incompetence from any of the numerous websites in which I have spent thousands of dollars.

Unable To Return Order As They Cannot Send A Retur

unable to return order as they cannot send a returns label OUT!!! have requested it over 20 times but each time there is an EXCUSE. now they say it may be in spam folder but surprise surprise its NOT! now they will have to send one by post but it may get MISLAID. this is one joke of a 'COMPANY' who abuse trust and are very dishonest and DEVIOUS. luckily my item was only £30 it could have been much much WORSE. i have now given up and they can keep my £30.00 but i will not leave it at that and will report them and attempt to RUIN. please do not shop with OVERSTOCK

Items Sold Into The Uk

I purchased 2 "grow lamp" systems.Delivery was ahead of schedule. I unpacked and connected up, This was to a UK delivery address. It arrived with US plugs ( which should have told me something). I cut off the plugs it arrived with, and fitted UK plugs, after using the Internet to find out what "black, White and Green were all about. Totally different to UK wireing standards, and no additional connection information was provided, let alone a warning. I plugged in and it all went "BANG". "Fed UP" does not even come close,( but the review banned the words I wanted to use) After inspecting the labels, I found out it was all 120 volt 60 c/s kit. Why are these companies allowed to sell into the UK when they do not meet our electrical standards?. It is impossible to contact them with my limited INTERNET KNOW HOW BUT i WOULD LOVE TO STUFF THEM FOR EVER. Without a 120volt transformer, (£80.00 minimum) it is not possible to use these units in the UK, but their web site proudly announces "now shipping to the UK". Surely it is not unreasonable to expect it to be suitable for the UK consumer.My advice to anyone considderig purchasing from this company is DON'T touch them with a barge pole.

I isseu them a challenge. If you are a decent trading company and wish to have this post removed, then contact ME on "[email protected] and make a menze for your lousy product.

Please Do Not Purchase With Overstock.com. We Boug

Please do not purchase with Overstock.com. We bought a baby rocker chair because seemed a good deal, then after the online transaction they doubled the price adding shipping costs (not included initially).

We immediately contacted them to cancel the purchase but refused that.

The courier left the item to our neighbours without contacting us and for returning it we need to pay the courier back from UK to US. We are now disputing through our bank.

I Bought Some Furniture From Overstock.com. It Was

I bought some furniture from overstock.com. It was flimsy junk and I asked for my money back. They offered me only one sixth of the price of the furniture, which was quite expensive. I feel swindled.

WARNING, do not buy furniture from these people. It is poor quality and they are unreasonable if you are unsatisfied in any way.

Don't Waste Your Time Or Money! Overstock Pulled M

Don't waste your time or money! Overstock pulled my items off this auction site and asked me to fax over a dealers licence! Same items that I have listed on other auction sites!!! And I listed a lot of items, which they removed and said I was still responsible for these fees!

I tried to contact them again and NO RESPONSE!!! $45.00 I'm out!!!(Just in listing fees) these items had bids on them!!!
