I recently contacted UKC tech support when I couldn't access the mail server attached to my domain which is hosted by UKC. It was a Friday evening. I had a response in minutes. I provided some detail about the problem (DNS resolution) and the next day it was fixed - I was impressed.
One thing could might be improved: I like not being pestered but the occasional update on service changes improvements would be welcome - e.g. when the Roundcube mail login site was removed and webmail access changed to UKC's own - I didn't know about that until I raised a support ticket. OTOH maybe I have set my preferences to "no mail - ever" - I often do things like that if given the chance :-)
UK Cheapest are very good in my experience - no hassle and very helpful. I've relied upon them for several years now.
