So many great reviews/satisfied users, it seemed a no-brainer to go for TSOHost when I wanted to change web hosters.
Phoned and spoke to a sales person, who assured me that migrating my site was all part of the deal, easy-peasy etc etc - just sign-up and we'll take care of it.
Wrong.
Tickets I opened to explain what I wanted from them were dealt with selectively, meaning that many crucial areas were either ignored, or glossed-over. And there's not much point TSOHost banging-on that their support is entirely UK-based if some of the people they employ clearly don't have written English as a first language. It made for some confusing, contradictory and ambiguous info.
In the end, it turned out that the 3rd party reseller hosting deal I currently have - which I'd painstakingly explained - made it impossible for TSOHost to migrate me.
What was worse was the snitty email implying this was all my fault.
Oh really ? A grudging "sorry if we implied we could help you, when in fact we couldn't" was the sum total of their profound regret.
I could go also to mention that for reasons only TSOHost can explain (but didn't) how they registered my own name as my domain name.
Waste of space basically. Maybe starting to believe their own publicity how great they are.
Don't doubt they're capable of providing a fine service, but on this occasion, they were more concerned with signing-up new business without bothering to find out anything about it. And when the task at hand proved beyond them, they couldn't give a flying finagle and couldn't wait to bail out.

Really sorry to hear of your bad experience here. I would really like to find out more about your experience and delve deeper in to the service you received so that I can review what went wrong here. Please email me directly with your tickets/email on file and I can hopefully ensure this isn't repeated.

Migrating sites from third party or custom control panels can be a very time consuming process, which, up until now we didn't have the resources or manpower to be able to facilitate. In light of this, we have recently created a team of specialists within our company, who will deal only with migrations - and can handle large numbers of migrations from any control panel in the world. Providing we can get access to your data, we can move your site for free.

I hope it will not happen to me. I bought just today the Vps as a trial, then told me can migrate within an hour, After signed up and paid 143 usd, they told me the migration is available only Monday. Though, i want to migrate my website due to capacity problem, i can't because they've schedule which didn't told be before the purchase. I think sales support is very active to tell you buy have this service but in the part of other support after sale, for me is negative. I told them 2 days waiting is very important for me

Hi guys. We just done with the migration of my website.Thanks to Martin Blackman who assisted and accommodate me the whole process even weekend.. .. I can now see and try the effectiveness of TSOHOSTING since my traffic goes on weekdays... Thanks for this site wherein were be able to interact , say what we felt and experiences to web hosting. cheers
