Hostakers spammed me on an email address uniquely generated and associated with a UK registrar. Upon querying this with them, they promised to remove the email address from their spam list but are unable to say how they acquired it. They are not associated with the registrar (verified).

This begs the questions:
How did they obtain legally privileged details if it was not shared with them (also not malware related)?
Would your personal data be safe with them?
Would you host with spammers?

Based upon these questions I would not touch them with a 10 foot barge pole.
