While it's been easy to order, it's been impossible to speak to a support staff. The submitting of a support ticket doesn't work from my account. And your FAQ doesn't provide any useful information.

If you click on the 'Support' link on our website you can submit a support request using the support form. This is described in your setup e-mail under "###### Getting Help With Your 5quidhost Account ######" which also includes a direct link to the support form.
It's also possible to submit a support request via the customer area (instructions for accessing that are also included in your setup e-mail). You can also find comprehensive contact details, and another link to the support form via the 'Contact' link on our website.

I have always had a prompt (within the hour) response from them with matters resolved in a timely manner.

I too have always had a VERY quick response from my tickets / emails, and to be honest in my busy life email / tickets are far better than sitting on the phone for 30mins or so waiting for an operator to take the call, These guys are by far above the rest!!!!
