I have had a pai r of Hi Tech lite walking boots for 3 years now, and right from the start the soles were slippery on wet rocks or concrete/asphalt etc. Thought they might improve, but are still as treacherous as ever. soles are not Vibram.Hope they have improved since. Got a pair of sandals(another brand) not long agowith Vibram soles, and grip extremely well in wet.
Beware.
