La Trinite Sur Mer
We stayed at La Plage camp site just outside La Trinite. Although the site was in a perfect spot right on the beach the sites for the Euro camp caravans that we were in were quite clustered together making car parking awkward. The site itself was very good and the couriers were very friendly and helpful. We enjoy walking and the site being next to the beach led onto a coastal path which was great walking whichever way we felt like going on the day.La Trinite itself was fantastic and we really enjoyed seeing the marina with all the lovely boats moored up.A great site all in all and would recommend it to anyone.
Pointe St Giles Benodet
Beautiful park, recently refurbished i think. Great for the kids to get around on their scooters. Great Beach very close good for crabbing. You will need some kind of beach shoe though as it is very course sand and hurt to walk on. The pool was fantastic with plenty of features to keep the kids amused. There are two flumes which were safe enough for my daredevil daughter to go down by herself (followed by parent)and some 'bumpy' slides which were inside. The only downsides were the slippery surfaces when wet. There were plenty of bruised bottoms! Also it was difficult to get a sunbed unless you went out at 7am and claimed with a towel! Also the kids clubs felt quite apart from the actual camp as you had to walk outside the park and down a road. Overall though very good. Staff were great and the evening entertainment we saw was brilliant.
La Pin Parasol
A lovely safe and family friendly site. We were met by the eurocamp reps who were very helpful. The site itself had a small shop and takeaway and three decent sized pools that the kids loved. The walks around the lake were lovely and our 7 year old particulary enjoyed cycling around the lakeside. The reception staff were very friendly and knowledgable. Easy access to Poy du Fuy which is definatley worth going to (our second time).
The site was clean and the staff were nice. The only negative was that the drive from Calais was a lot longer than we first thought.
We really enjoyed this holiday and were able to relax as the kids played safely on the site. We would recommend to others definately.
Excellent For All
We took our 16 year old and her best friend to Dol De Bretagne and they had a brilliant time, which meant that we did too. There was plenty to do at the campsite both during the day and the night to keep us all entertained, zip line, horse riding, golf, swimming pools to name but a few, and it was safe and secure enough to let the girls do their own thing.
There are some lovely villages close by for when you want a break from all the swimming etc, Mont St Michael and Dinan are well worth a look.
For a fun day there is an amazing water park very close to the campsite, and various other activities, the reception area is full of leaflets and ideas.
I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone.
Found It To Be The Worst Holiday Me And My Family Have Taken
the caravans are of poor standard and not at all what i would call homely, there is not alot for families to do,nowhere really to eat on site and miles away from everywhere to be honest i felt like it was a holiday that had been advertised falsely and we will not be returning again and we did cut our holiday short due to our experience there and we had no help or refund due to loss of paying for such a bad experience
Point St.giles Benodet
As you keep bombarding me with junk emails here goes.
Full of drunken Irish. Evening entertainment apalling. Mass exodus to the pool each morning to leave towels on sun-beds before going back to bed to nurse their hangovers.
Hope this helps.
Trinite Sur Mer !
La Trinite Sur Mer to be precise - What a wonderful harbour. This was the main base we stayed at with Eurocamp in one of their Static mobile homes for one week in June. The representatives for Eurocamp couldn't do enough for you to make your stay an enjoyable one.
This holiday started from Plymouth ( ferry sign posts extremely good and easy to find) over the sea to Roscoff. From the docks at Roscoff with in a few minutes you are on the road heading south of Brittany. The Carnac area was approx 140 mile journey and with little traffic on the road didn't take us long to arrive. In fact I found that there was less traffic around than in the UK. They like the roundabouts in france but once you have got used to them are easy to negotiate.
When you explore the coastline of Brittany and in the Carnac area going North the Atlantic rollers are quite spectacular. A plus point in June is " No Car Parking Charges" not like in UK.
Each day it was possible to find a town/village/harbour to visit and get a flavor of the French life.
In the La Trinite area there are plenty of hide away beaches to find and coastal paths just waiting to be walked. The Boulangerie in Trinite was our daily stop off for rolls to eat or salads to take and off course the
Tarte tattin - absolutely delicious!
The weather wasn't the best that it could have been with rain over a few days but all the other things out weighed this. When the sun shone then everything was uplifted.
The Eurocamp site I have to say was ideal for us as it was just two minutes walk to the sand dunes which became a ritual each evening to take in the views of the coastline then for a stroll to the Restaurant/Bar for a drink. We found that with self catering you only had to go to the local
Super "U" supermarket and evrything was to hand. Also the local market day stalls were well worth a visit for fresh fish.
Alas the week went too quick but one final thing was allow extra time to spend a few hours in Roscoff which have some very good restaurants before catching the Ferry home.
Chateau Des Ormes
Excellent camp site. Eating at the pizzeria was ok and would not break any food records. The camp itself was excellent with good pools and other excellent facilities, golf, horse riding. Good restaurants not far away.
Great for kids and we will be back.

Eurocamp V Others
My wife and I have enjoyed a caravan holiday in France for some five years now. We have booked with Eurocamp on every occasion possible.
We have travelled to stay in Brittany (N&S), Jura, Vandee and I can honestly say that the most inexpensive, enjoyable, trouble-free holidays have always been with Eurocamp. We have tried other 'competitors' and quite frankly there is no competition.
For the purposes of balanced reporting: Recently we stayed in a Park owned by a Company which has five letters in its title ending in u. I do not wish to mention their name as it will only attract messages from people who will disagree with my comments but the Park was overcrowded in its pitches and the Units on offer did not bear any resemblence to the description in the brochure/website. (The same cannot be said of Eurocamp.) The cost was more than a Eurocamp holiday and the accommodation was sub-standard. The only reason we booked it was because the dates we required were outwith Eurocamp's dates on offer. Never again, we shall alter our dates accordingly.
The Eurocamp Parks are always clean and welcoming in their appearance. The Representatives have always be kind, professional and 'out of their way' helpful. I should say that the Representative's ages have varied from young to retired.
The facilities on offer would satisfy the most critical 'Victor Meldrew'.
My wife and I are classed as nearly retired, I suppose, but we find that integration with the younger and older people not to be a problem in Eurocamp Parks. There is plenty for the kids to do and enough for the older and the elderly to enjoy.
We have already booked holidays with Eurocamp for next year. We know what we have enjoyed and we have no worries about what to expect from Eurocamp.
