I Have Had This Camera For Some 18 Months Now And

I have had this camera for some 18 months now and remain hugely impressed with its overall performance which knocks the spots off some of the current models. Easy to use (one handed if necessary) the results remain excellent. The built-in flash is handy in 'contrast' situations. I have no gripes at all - a great piece of kit.

Perserverance With This Camera Certainly Pays Off

Perserverance with this camera certainly pays off and the reward is superb photos using fuji's interpolation software to bump up the mega pixel rating. Camera is light, stylish, portable, reliable and is extremely easy to use. I have had the camera for 9 months and am still producing better and better pictures. I personally have a lot of problems with focusing and often get blurry pictures however i have discovered this is often the case when the flash is not being used. Using more artificial light obviously helps the problem. Movie mode is absolutely great for short clips. It has a built in mic so you can record just voice clips as well. Overall the camera is superb with the pictures being detailed, sharp and vibrant. Very easy to use, and with everything you need supplied in the box this represents very good value for money.

I Bought This Camera To Go On Holiday With. I Want

I bought this camera to go on holiday with. I wanted something that would be easy to use and also I would be able to review my efforts on a TV screen. I have not been dissappointed. Set to auto, point and shoot, and in 99% of the time the results have been flawless. The flash settings took a little bit of time to get used to but again the results were excellent. Set to the 2M Normal quality the prints were as good as you would wish and I had no problems running out of space. This camera is such a handy size that it can easily be slipped into the inside pocket of your suit when attending any function. Perhaps one of the faults I would find is the startup time. The delay from switching the camera on until its ready for use can be a bit of a handycap when you want to take one of those 'instant shots'.

The bad points cover the frustration I am experiencing. I have had the camera some three months and still cannot find how to load the photo's onto the internet or obtain the SoftWare Driver.

The Fuji Finepix 4800 Digital Camera Is One Of The

The Fuji Finepix 4800 digital camera is one of the do everything, all-in-one generation. It is a great camera for businessmen and snapshooters. Its auto modes produce some of the best shots of any 2.3 megapixel camera. Though it produces a 4 MP file this camera should not be considered a 4 MP camera. Enlarging the image like one could with a 4 MP file tends to produce softer images than cameras with 4 MP CCDs. This may be the reason that many have said that there is a problem with the focus in this camera. I personally have not seen a problem with the ones that I have tested.

The unique design of this camerea makes it perfect to slip into a suit or shirt pocket. It only takes a minute to adjust to the feel of the camera in your hands. Though the down side of the form is that it is difficult to use for vertical shots.

I was not impressed with the fact that the only mode which takes advantage of TV >1\4 sec is night mode. I think that Auto and more importantly manual modes should take advantage of the longer exposure times. With respect to the lens I must say that it is sharp, though there is noticable distortion expecially in the macro mode. The lens is prone to flare but there was no signs of ghosting in the lens. Color rendition is normal.

Over all I must say that this is a great consumer camera. It is well designed and will please the normal digital consumer. For experienced film users looking for a digital camera to toy with, the infrared pictures from this camera taken through a wratten 87 IR filter are fun to experiment with, but if you are looking for control over the image I would look at other cameras.

I Only Got My Fuji Finepix 4800 Digital Camera Tod

I only got my Fuji Finepix 4800 digital camera today but everything looks great - even managed to work out PC camera function after puzzling for 10 minutes over settings. Great quality pics at 1M setting - looks like 99 shots on 32MB. I'm very pleased.

This Fuji Finepix 4800 Is My Second Digital Camera

This Fuji Finepix 4800 is my second digital camera - first was an old SONY Mavica which had to go because of its size and poor print quality. Overall, I'm mighty impressed with this camera...tons of features, easy to use with a little practice, and prints look Great even at 8x10 on a photo-quality printer (I use an HP Photosmart 1115). Friends love the look of the design, but it does take a little getting used to (as in,"where do I put my thumb?", etc.). My only real complaint is the optical viewfinder--only a VERY rough approximation of the finished picture, but this is a problem on a lot of digital cams. Buy an extra battery, you'll need it. Ditto for an extra memory card. Overall, I'm EXTREMELY HAPPY with this.

After reading reviews on this page i decided to buy this Fuji Finepix 4800 digital camera and I haven't been disappointed. This camera is easy to use gives very good prints. I would recommend buying a bigger memory card if you can afford it but otherwise this is a great buy.

The Fuji Finepix 4800 Is A Great Little Digital Ca

The Fuji Finepix 4800 is a Great Little digital camera. This is a cool looking camera as well. I really like the unique Porsche design!

A real looker and built to last. The magnesium aluminum body gives a reassuring feeling that this camera can take a lickin and keep on tickin.

The bottom line for me is the quality of the pics and this camera more than delivers. The outdoor pics are outstanding.

Although I'm not that knowledgeable in the field of photography this camera seems to have more than enough features for the week-end shutterbug like myself. The cradle is a big plus, enabling you to re-charge the battery and transfer images via USB cable. That may explain its higher price to comparable 2.X m-pixel cameras on the market. I recommend you buy a larger smartmedia memory ie 64 or 128 if you purchase this camera, the 16 meg is inadequate if you plan to go out and shoot hundreds of high quality pics.

The Fuji Finepix 4800 Is An Excellent Digital Came

The Fuji Finepix 4800 is an excellent digital camera for the novice. Camera shoots well in all conditions. Probably the best value camera on the market, you get sound, movie mode, and variable picture settings should you wish to move away from the automatic settings and be more adventurous. The camera also has the handy PC camera option should you wish to stay in touch with friends or family when you are away. The cradle is an excellent accessory. Compact
