I Actually Own 2 Of These Phones, One For Business

I actually own 2 of these phones, one for business, one for personal use. They have always done the job for me. I have never really understood why people NEED 1000's of ringtones and rude animated icons. It's a phone... It's to talk to people with, Use it as such. If you don't like this phone I would suggest you invest in a game boy, it may be more what you are looking for.

The Mn-1 (maxon Mx3204) On The Vodafone Network, I

The MN-1 (maxon MX3204) on the Vodafone network, is quite out of date now, but offer a budget price, and its available in the colours Black, Red & Gold.

It is slim so its fits in a pocket VERY easily, its light too.The buttons are quite small, and are made a "Rubbery-matt" finish so after a few months of usage the numbers are going to wear away, like they have on a friend of mines.

The buttons on the circle can be easily pressed by mistake, the phone often thinks you've pressed a the other one, when infact its not the case.

The menu system is set out fool-proof, and is easy to use by novices

No extras on this mobile phone also make it Cheap, but un-popular phone for the younger people who like to play games or "be in with the in croud" and have the latest Eminem song as their ringtone.

This phone has a small LED's (Light) indicator on the top,

the LED flashes to show the status of the phone. Which is handy.

If you're a "Txt-er" and receive a lot of text messages, you will not be able to tell (unless you check) whether you have a new text message. because the alert is a very quiet bleep, and it can't be changed.

.

On a tight budget? only want to call people and thats it? well you could get this one, but still "shop around" Only £39.99 at the moment, so get one if you want it

The Mn-1 Is A Couple Of Years Out Of Date Now, But

The MN-1 is a couple of years out of date now, but still a very attractive offer at budget price, and its available in colours from Red to Blue.

The first things you notice on the phone are that the buttons are quite small, and would be hard for people with bigger fingers to use.

Also the set of buttons in the circular formation at the top of the phone are hard to press, and the phone often thinks you've pressed a different one than you actually did.

Another thing you will notice is the small display, on which each pixel is rather large, meaning that not much can fit on the screen and the menu's can get hard to navigate. However, the menu is set out sensibly, and is easy to use by novices (I have experience of this)

The lack of extras on this mobile phone also make it a less popular phone for the younger people who like to play games "on the move" or compose their own tunes

A good thing about this phone is that it has a small light indicator on the top, something that is not present in this form on many mobile phones.

The light flashes according to the status that the phone is in, eg. flashing steadily green means its turned on, flashing steadily red means its running out of batteries, double-flashing steadily green means new message or missed calls.

While on the subject of alerts, if you recieve a lot of text messages, you may not like this phone as the message received alert is a very quiet bleep, and it cant be altered.

In summary, I think that this is a phone that should be considered for people that are new to mobiles, or want a cheaper one. It doesn't provide all the features and extras of todays mobile phones, and would not be a good choice if buying for teenagers.

Overall, The Phone Is Ok For The Person Who Needs

Overall, the phone is OK for the person who needs to make phone calls and nothing else. The handset lacks features and can be awkward for typing text messages but its worth pointing out that this is a budget phone so hence cheap to buy.
