Functional, Resolute And Reliable With A Heater Th

Functional, resolute and reliable with a heater that will warm you up after the coldest and wettest of North Lancashire nights at Turf Moor.Cost effective, shabby chic cool and cheap to run, will also function in Dingle tradition on vegetable oil, eco- fuel if correctly prepared, but is a class act beyond reproach when looked after just reasonably well.

Simply a great motor at an affordable price that can potentially last lifetimes, I kid you not the VAG group is only one letter away from the veg group, and in as much will always regroup and re-invent the wheel!Reliability is key to me and this is a tool that does what it's meant to do, even if you forget about it.

I've one Audi 1.9 TDI (130hp) from 2001 (last model). It's the best car I had. It's a AUDI.

The Audi 1.9 Tdi (115) Se Avant (1997) Is A Very S

The Audi 1.9 TDi (115) SE Avant (1997) is a very solid, well built car using excellent quality plastics. The ergonomics of the car are up to the usual standards for most modern cars though the intermittent washer adjuster is difficult to operate. Mine was fitted with the 'Winter Pack' which was nice, though scorch marks on the backside sometimes made me think it was too efficient!! The rear seat legroom is very restricted and this needs considering if you use the car rear seats frequently as it really is poor. I'm only 5'9" and my 8 year old daughter could not get comfortable due to the back of the drivers seat.

Performance was better than most average petrol cars 2.0 litres and below, and returning regularly 53-55 mpg (even though it was a company car I never thrash my cars!) tyres a tad expensive as they were 205 x 16's but if you shop around as I did, a pair of directional Pirelli's could be had for £150 inc VAT. The only fault I had with the A4 was engine cutout. This was eventually found to be the A/C. The fluid was bone dry! The previous user used to have the same problem but never mentioned it when undergoing the service. It was overheating the system and this cut-out the engine eventually! After re-filling and replacing some seals - they perished as the A/C was rarely used everything was fine. The A/C has to be used for 1 hour every month winter or summer to keep the system functional and reliable. The difference in MPG was approximately 2 mpg less. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone requiring a decent car and making a big mistake by even considering a BMW.

Listen.

This is mainly a fair and positive review, but I disagree completely with any generalisation about the comfort of the A4. The front seats in my A4 are the worst I have encountered in over 25 years of driving. They give me backache. My annual mileage is high, so I paid extra for lumbar supports for the front seats of my A4. Rather than being a comfort option, it seems that they are a backache option. Driving this Audi is not a joy, it is a misery. Audi refuse to recognise the backache issue. They prefer to talk about the supports being 'correctly fitted' or that they have 'no manufacturing defect'. If they are right, then the design is at fault. Either way, I still have a backache. When you pay extra for comfort, you don't expect a chronic injury. Amazingly, Audi (UK) think I should pay to have the seat changed ! Audi means 'Listen' - they don't.
