CTX PR705F

This CTX PR705F monitor is professional(pr stands for professional) so it has great image quality.It is really sharp and has nice colors.But it`s geometry is just really bad.When you restart your computer geometry will reset too.Some people might not like two black lines but they are technological reason for having so sharp picture.

I bought my CTX PR705F monitor for 400$ Australian (200 US$). First unit had a very obvious geometry distortion in bottom right corner which I was unable to correct. The picture quality was just perfect (except the geometry). I returned the unit to my supplier and got another unut. This time the geometry was almost perfect but the sharpness was very bad. I went back to my supplier and managed to get another unit. This time it was just good, in fact very, very good. I guess there is a problem with initial factory adjustments. Since you are not prepared to void your 3 year warranty and fiddle with the internal controls test your unit before you take it home!
