This report does not give you all the info that carfax or others do but it is free and is a great way to eliminate the really bad options before paying for the carfax

I have reviewed several cars through this site and impressed at the elaborate details provided which are up to date. More impressive is this is a free online access with detailed results. Highly recommended.

VehicleHistory.com told me about the condition of my family's car(s) and is a great resource if you're looking to buy a new car. It covers many areas such as: - Recalls - Age of Vehicle - Damages - Model And much more. Some of the accident information was vague, however. This maybe due to the lack of documentation available, or due to legal reasons. Either way, VehicleHistory.com showed me what I needed at a quick pace.

I appreciate the number of information points available at no cost through this site. It provided recall information, car specs, and any past issues recorded. The only downside that I could see is that the technical information is provided in wording sometimes not super easy to understand for an auto novice...but other than that, great! It's a big help while searching for a used car. Thanks!

Great information. We bought our vehicle used with high mileage, and were concerned about recalls that were not noted by the dealer's vehicle history report.

Was pleasantly surprised to find this site, and even more so in reading the report. The only thing holding back the fifth start was the fact that the ordering of items seems to go chronologically ascending, then descending, and the text of some of the TSBs is not complete nor fully present. There is enough information and in a good format to make a good decision. I especially liked the Edmunds value estimator - exactly what I was looking for!

VehicleHistory.com was very easy to use and very informative. It reviewed all the things you want yo know when purchasing a car. Recalls,accidents,Ins. claims, ect..

Good alternative to Carfax. Very easy to read and pretty comparable to Carfax. Was able to use this information to be prepared to go to a dealership..

This report included most of the information I was searching for on a vehicle.

It's a fast and free Vehicle report, you just add the VIN number and get a good report about the car, I think it would be awesome to know the number of previous owners. I would definitely recommend this tool for my family and friends to use as soon as the decided to buy a used car.

Great free website for checking VIN numbers. Ton's of information on here but some of which can be too much to sort through. It would be great to see more detailed information. For example, if the report says there was a salvage title,it would be nice to be able to drill down to see why the car was salvaged.

I find the report very informative and have recommended the website to friends.

I was looking to research if a vehicle I'm interested in purchasing was involved in any accidents. I found this website that helped reassure me the vehicle was not in any accidents. I am glad I found this site, and best of all it was completely free. I think this is a great alternative to other companies like CarFax.

Looked up a Jeep Wrangler I'm interested in buying and I received a LOT of information on the vehicle. I'm a novice when it comes to buying cars but I can definitely say this gives me all the information I would need to know what has happened with this car and anything I should look out for if I decide to purchase it. Good thing about it is they include recalls and inspection list.

I like the website because I can check the history of my car and any other car I might be interested in purchasing in the future. The site show if there has been any accidents or title issues in the past, which is very helpful and can save you from making a mistake and purchasing a vehicle with title issues. I am happy with the detail I have found about my vehicle. The one thing I wish I could see is current mileage on the vehicle I am checking out. Other than that, a great website to check the history of your vehicle!
