I have ordered a number of things from Ideal World and thought them to be good until I encountered my first faulty product.
I took advantage of their half price Dormeo mattress. I was delighted with the product, very comfortable and offered me a good night's sleep. However, I soon noticed a groove appearing in one corner that was getting longer.
I decided after 3 months to contact Ideal World to seek a replacement as the goods were clearly faulty. I even supplied pictures but all I got was the rubbish statement that they can believe how disappointing and frustrating this must be but to be patient. After a few communications, I was informed that the supplier wanted an engineer's report and that someone from Home Serve would contact me.
This did happen albeit Home Serve could not attend for a couple of weeks. When the engineer did attend, he took photos and stated that the mattress is indeed faulty, through no fault of mine and that it would be replaced. More than a week after he attended, I have had two communications with them and they are still yet to replace the mattress. They are duty bound to replace or reimburse, not to keep saying they are referring the matter to the supplier. A company is only as good as the way they handle a problem and from my experience, I will never order from Ideal World again!
