Read the description of this tour and it seemed good. $168 for two of us.
We were terribly disappointed. Our guide was very entertaining but the foodie part was so bad we left before the last two stops .
First stop, sample a few different kinds of cheese. Small pieces. Then on to a Baccala tasting Basically deep fried cod. One piece and glass of cheap wine. Tasted terrible. Third stop a small slice of cheese pizza. Nothing to drink. Then we went to a Bruschette shop good bread terrible toppings. The guide announced the next stop was a bowl of spaghetti to be followed by a visit to a Gelato shop. We chose not to continue. You could tell from the faces and body language or of the others on the group they were not enthused at all. Total waste of time and money.
