“A good potential”

Windu has marvelous clients, good employees, but several times I had to change my password because my calendar was attacked by hackers, and I lost a Carnival this year because it showed booked when it was not booked!!! They changed my prices also...a confusion!!! But with an aditional number in the password now it is better, the safety. I began to work better. But now, I put in my mother language a new fee in my house rules, believing that it would be automatically translated to several languages and it was not like others points before, that were all translated when I done the website! A guest complainted of paying this fee because it was not translated and Windu put the blame on me!!! Why Windu translated all things before and not this now? So I offered to refund the guest but Windu cancelled my reservation(!!!!), telling it was up to me to ask for the translations!!!! And the worse is that the guest wants to be relocated because of the noise of a construction site, not because of this fee I could refund him. The guest is someone opportunist and Windu lets him dammage me. It is a pitty, because Windu pays well, it is a good Web site, etc!!!!

I was told that "instant booking" had already been activated, but I don't see that this is the case, when I search the flat I offer. So I actually don't know, if this has really happened or not.

I had one booking few people had answered my mails -I got so many mails with the same contence it seemed that the robot was writtung them then I got happy when one girl offered her help -but when I wrothe her somebody else wrothe me bacK so as I had only one booking -how can I recomand you to my friends who are doing well without you -and I culdnt really depenD on you the kidds that work for you are reallyyyy kind and polite and sweet -but it seems that you are not sinchronised -and I am too old for new computerised bussines -so lets hope for the best -you certinly are mutch better than TRIPADVISOR AND SOME FLIP THING THEY REALLY ARE A MAD HOUSE . i DO WISH YOU ALL THE BEST and I hope you willbe satisfied with me yours sincerely Tanja Stupar TARA STUDIO-MARINA VERUDA-PULA-CROATIA

“My experience as host”

Windu is a competent company, despite being of, should focus to Europe's market to be more efficient. I wish their calendar could be export. If a make a reserve at any other booking company. I have to go there to alter calendar. It may bring misundertandings.

All in all I am very pleased with Wimdu, but I think there should be a slightly tighter policy on the calendar, so it is updated to when the homes are available. And there should be an inpact, when the landlords dont answer a potential customer. When that is said, I am very satisfied with Wimdu, which I think provides a good service.

I was satisfied with my 14 days stay in a appartement in Paris. There was some missing in the appartementf.ex.a coffeemachine, wineglass, a l`aillepresser, but I know, that the french people sometimes are rather funny, I have lived in France for one year. “Posting Total Price to Potential Clients”

Wimdu was great in helping me after the fact, so at least I know now for the future. I had someone who was obviously not an experienced user of Wimdu or similar sites trying to rent my apartment for seven nights. But they were confused when the price I was charging, my weekly rate of 450 euro, did not match up with what they were told they would have to pay when they tried to make a reservation. They were unaware that there was a fee, and eventually stopped dealing with me because of this misundertanding. Wimdu needs to make it more obvious to novice users about the fees involved. However, the Wimdu staff was very helpful in explaining their fee policy - after I had lost the client. Please improve this.

“listing not up--calender blocked but not by me”

when i spoke/email with your staff member on 30 june. it would have been nice to review my account and let me know the problem--i had no idea that someone had blocked my calender (not i)- or check into my site and why i had not received any bookings for 3 years, when i did originally when i joined. i am disappointed to say the least. you might want to check your competitor airbnb--they are right on top of things and charge a minimal fee. maybe my listing is not needed, which would make me sad, as i had a great listings and guests when i first joined. even a reminder email like (we have not heard from you........??) we both lose when there are no bookings. thank you for listening.

“message box”

I have sent my review about that to wimdu before but nothing changed. Message box must be improved. It must contain these details on top of it: dates, number of people, flat name, guest name total price that host will get. Otherwise host wasting a lot of time to ask all these questions. and loosing consantration to settle reservation which is the most important issue.

Windu, is one of the many companies using the Airbnb idea, and though I have had some very nice guests coming from their site, (I'm a host) I personally find that their business model doesn't have the best interest of the host in mind, only the guests the company. They strongly advise us, the hosts, to provide cheaper price, respond quickly to every message and accept as many reservation as you are asked, you're not allowed to refuse any reservation, or you are but you get penalised for it and you also get penalise for not complying with any of their recommendations.Yur listing will remain in the back of the search result. So, as a host I believe there's a lot of room for improvement, but great for guests.

We like to see more transparent communication. e.g wimdu said there is a guest complaint. We've asked what was that, but didn't get any response. If we do not know our mistake/s how to improve? We haven't heard any complaint by any guests directly. Still waiting to hear what was the complaint.

“nice appartment but bad service”

Please look carefully, this review may be of an another appartment(compare the nummers), than you want to rent! Also the photographs are sometimes from another appartment! We liked our apparment, but a lot was not functioning. Wifi was not there, but brought the next day; none off the 4 televisions were working; the koffiemaker was broken and not replaced although we asked for it several times. We duly regret that the service of the host was not good. We had to call Wimdu, to help us to get the toilet repared. Summarize: nice appartment but bad service and insufficient maintenance.

In the begining I was disappointed from WIMDU, becasue when I booked an apartment my money went instantly into WIMDU account, but few hours later the owner denied my booking. After several days, when I finaly found another apartment (with a support of another agency) I couldn't pay the amount, because the limit of my credit card was not enough, thanks to this. My money was still blocked in the bank. I suggest you to chage the manner of taking instantly money from the guests, if there is not 100% availability from the host. Positive: The advisor called my on my cell phone to apologise me for inconvenience and gave me a cupon for 100 Euro. It was very kind! Thank you!

“Payment enquire, and address correction”

I was expecting, to receive a confirmation payment email, from you guys, at least 24hrs after, the guests checking in. But the guests, have already checked out this morning, and so far I haven't heard anything from you. Also the guest, had a printed sheet with my address details, and they were completely wrong. There was saying Calçada Menino Deus 0, and the post code was completely different. I wonder, if the guest has to contact me, when he/she receives the confirmation, in terms of me giving them the right address, or if is WIMDU, who gives them the right details. Please, let me know, how it works exactly, regarding who provides the address to the guests. Because the guest called from my street, without knowing the exact door number, because in his print I could read nº 0. Thank you Best regards

“A reliable site for renting !”

All my apartments have been anounced with the Wimdu without any problem and in three languages. The only big issue happened with another apartment, I've tried to include in the Wimdu site, but after almost a month was cancelled and not approved, without any explanation. In this matter they should improve more a relantionship with the hosts informing what happened and what the hosts should do. Even so, I'm very satisfied with Wimdu that now had improved with a complete calendar price : just few nights, one week or a complete month rate.

Hello, I am an addict of travel and every year travel alot of countries,rent a flat for 1 month or less.I have found this site for rental but price is expensive for me because I rent a small flat for 2 persons between 400-500 Euro for 1 month or more dates,if you offer these price that I will choose flats in the different countries,I will be pleased.Thanks.
