Indian Visa Application: I saw excellent reviews, had heard horror stories re: Indian Embassy - lost passports mainly, visa genie apparently actually attend embassy in person - i emailed them for this info. Indian visa must be applied for online only now - you complete visa genie online questionnaire and payment, they email visa app form to you based on this info, you print it off, sign and return with docs and for me, visa arrived 10 calendar days later, paid for express service (extra £6.50) so visa cost me around £140 rather than the £93 had i queued at the embassy myself. They did not transcribe my details exactly from my questionnaire to the application form online - eg hotel address missing,my email address apparently deliberately incorrect, i was not entirely happy considering how much i had paid, they sent me an abrupt email, basically saying these details were irrelevant - and, as i had paid already i signed and returned the form - hoped for the best and i now have the visa - I would say it was a good service but not "the best" it could have been, overall i have the visa fairly quickly as required, if you have time, and have reasonable admin skills, i would do it yourself.
