My E-ticket Denied At Checkin - Name Misspelled
Traveloka's airline ticket was NOT ACCEPTED BECAUSE THIS COMPANY DID NOT INPUT MY LAST NAME!!!
I almost left completely stranded in Ho Chi Minh City.Eventually it cost me more than double the price to buy new one way tickets.
There was no valid reponse for days. Eventually TRAVELOKA Hongkong representative stated I only filled in my first name and they denied any refunds. On the contrary they had all my information, but deferred their own mess.
Traveloka not only caused travel delay and last minute major hassles due to my denied flight. It not only double pay. I wasted 2 full days till i was able straightened things out with Angkor Airlines. They also talked aroun a lot of nonsense till they finally let me purchase new individual one way tickets.
I have used Traveloka in Thailand in the early 2000s and they were excellent. Now this is a miserable and extorting company.

Extremely Unhappy
I booked 6 nights accommodation with them and paid immediately. They then said they could not give accommodation voucher and would issue a refund. This cost me £26 in bank charges!! I then booked same room with booking. com so the room was available.
Don’t Buy Your Flight Tickets From Traveloka
Don’t buy your flight tickets from Traveloka. No refund and no rescheduling. Their customer service has bad English writing skills and gaslighted me! It’s better to buy directly from the airline. Extremely ill trained customer service!

Till today..no refund, no one picks up the phone, no one responds, no one calls, no one emails back...am just feeling like a fool, being tricked, taking advantage of..
Be Warned
BE WARNED! Traveloka are tricking 10% of their customer base - enough to stay in business and maximize profit. I booked a flight to Indonesia from Thailand. I was notified that the flight route was cancelled and I could not receive a refund, but had the option to reschedule the flight once the flight route was available again. I was also informed that my flight credit needed to be used within 24 months. I have contacted their customer service nearly every week, and it has now been a year and a half. Every single one of my efforts to use the flight credit has been rejected as they have stated I must book a flight with the same flight route, which is not currently available. They will not let me book any alternative routes or any other flights. Seems they are stalling until my 24 months are gone. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Incompetent, Can’t Book Months In Advance Or Use Coupons
Tried to book two tickets, the return portion 9 months away, and only Traveloka, not the other travel websites, required a valid passport that expires 6 months after that travel 9 months from now. You can’t renew most passports more than 6 months before they expire, so if you are booking tickets months in advance, you’re wasting your time with this company. I went back and forth trying to get them to see the light, and they couldn’t see how this policy isn’t practical or logical for travelers booking months in advance.
And since I had coupons with this company worth hundreds of dollars, I tried to book a single ticket. OMG, only two of the four coupons worked, and when they resolved it, two different coupons worked, and when they resolved it again, only two of the coupons worked. I keep loosing airline fares, I have spent dozens of hours, and Traveloka is getting rude with me, unbelievable. If it wasn’t for the 10,000 Thai baht worth of coupons I would have given up long ago.
I’ve used dozens of travel websites, for many travel arrangements, and this is by far the worse. And of top of everything else, there prices are higher than their competition.
Room Is Not As Advertised
I booked a 3 bedrooms garden view villa in the Ocean Villas resort in Da Nang, Vietnam for my family during my lunar new year holiday thru Traveloka. They mentioned Ocean Villa and I stayed there before so I know the place is adjacent to the ocean. But the driver sent us to the Point Villas which is a km away and you have to cross a public road in order to approach the Ocean Villas and the beach.
The Traveloka was responsive but repeatedly excused for ridiculous reasons: the villa is garden view (every resort has garden view room), I already accepted (because I had no place to stay waiting for my complain to be solved), the Point is part of the Ocean (which is not true)...
After checking I found out that the property owner - a company called Cozy Villas - intentionally hide the details in order to sell their lower rank villa as a higher one. That is why they never mention the concrete address in all materials and Traveloka tried to protect the owner instead of the customer. I mailed Traveloka trying to put a review on Traveloka’s website but could not find a way. Don’t know if they block me to review?
I am really disappointed with the Traveloka and the property owner. My mother is 82 could not get over the road to see the beach although I chose the villa is especially for her. I just want to tell my case for others to learn from my experience. Stay away from Traveloka and that kind of property owner.
I Got My Money Stolen
I wanted to book a train ticket, once I paid for it with my credit card I received a text which stated that the transaction was unsuccessful and I should try another payment method. Notwithstanding the "unsuccessful" transaction thay withdraw the money form my bank account.
I Have Just Booked My Flight And Hotel Through Thi
I have just booked my flight and hotel through this service provider. Once I’m done with the hotel booking, I realized that I’ve booked the wrong dates which is impossible because I was really careful when choosing the dates. I went ahead to seek help from the live chat if there is any way that I can get a refund or reschedule. The person servicing me was rude af, even told me that the hotel does not have an email address that I can write in to request for the refund? Seriously, which hotel doesn’t have an email but can be booked through online? I found the email myself online and told the person, he/she replied “but we do not have :)”. The live chat was pointless in my opinion as it only angers the consumers because the attitude was rude and there is no intention of helping at all.
Now when I come to think of it, my bookings were all date filtered with availability. The dates will jump when you book it because that are too many people experiencing the same as me.
