The person I dealt with was knowledgeable in his interaction but he came across as slightly aggressive in his sale pitch and called several times within a few hours.

Overall I had a good experience (eventually). Was a bit uncertain at first as I paid online for my flights and then nothing happened...once I rang the Customer Service helpline, I was then contacted, all my details confirmed and the process explained to me. The website isn't great (I signed up for an account and nothing works!) but I think it is definitely best to call as I got good customer service then. The company was recommended to me and if I was to book again, I think it would be best to do it over the phone as their online presence is not great.

I needed to amend (ie, bring forward) the travel date (return journey) of a relative visiting from overseas so as to synchronise the amended date with the time left on the visitor's visa. Unless this was done, the visitor was going to be returned on the next flight to the country of origin. At the time we requested the change, the visitor had been detained by immigration officers for well over 2 hours, following an overnight flight from West Africa. The gentleman who handled my call was polite and professional, talking me through what I needed to do to get the return date of travel amended. After 4 anxious hours and forking out over £700, our visitor was released. The original return ticket costing just over £600 and bought through this travel agent was therefore forfeited. In hindsight, a return ticket (albeit the other half would not be used) would have been cheaper, and on this point alone, I feel let down. On the whole, however, I wouldn't mind recommending this company to a friend. Thank you

She was so helpful in finding me the correct flights and she looked at a variety of options to suit my tight budget and managed to find a good deal for me. I have been able to contact her since my booking and she always responds to my calls and does not give up until she makes contact with me. I am hoping that all goes well with the flights on the 14th Feb x Thank you, I will be booking again in April and in the summer months. Best wishes

Good price on the web but it is a bit confusing when talking to one of the customer service although they do try hard to satisfy your needs.

I booked a city break through MightyDeals that went through to Travel Unravel. They are functional enough but soon pass on any difficulties straight to the customer. Case example is a RyanAir 'name change' fee £110 based on the informal details passed on at booking stage, to the confirmation at provision of passport details. Many people may use nicknames at deal sites, Annie instead of Hannah, Betty instead of Elizabeth, etc. These are passed STRAIGHT ON to the flight booking without clear notice that the name details should be EXACTLY AS ON PASSPORT; Unravel simply did not provide this ESSENTIAL detail, or double-check to confirm before making the flight booking. So much so that the 'Mighty Deal' is now not a mighty deal at all and has actually cost more than just booking it myself. I had my hands tied to pay the additional fee; I have advised Unravel to review their procedures, but of course there is no incentive to do so as they are covered by their terms and conditions and will not be concerned if you decide not to travel a) out of principle, or b) you simply cannot afford the unforeseen additional costs. Be aware.
