We had a very bad experience with travel trolley. We booked our flights last year and unable to travel on selected dates due to the passport renewal issue of my son. Our bad luck started when a customer service agent Diya from travel trolley changed our flights tickets into the voucher.......As she told us company deduct 250£ per ticket if we cancel the tickets. When we tried to booked tickets after 4 months with the same customer service agent first she refused to share the vouchers codes very rudely with a statement you have no option to booked with travel trolley again . The original price of tickets shown on british airways Website was 2790 for all travellers which we confirmed multiple time. we already paid 2472 . The travel agent diya asked for 894£ paid by my husband and she confirmed tickets are booked for all travellers. We already known we spend more then original price of tickets. After 1 hour we received a call asking for 450 £ more to confirmed the tickets . After a huge fights with most of customer services agents we realised that we are already trapped very badly and no option now to pay the rest of the money demanding by the agent. We learnt a life time lesson thanks to travel trolley and especially their customer service team for it . If u love your self and your money never used third party websites. Spend little more on official websites for buy tickets as its secure. Regards. Maha

Travel Trolley is one of the worst travel companies I have encountered in all my years of travel. I appreciate that COVID has hit the travel sector the hardest, yet Travel Trolley are using the ongoing impact of the global pandemic on it's customers. In December 2021, we book two flights from UK to Japan to travel in October 2022. Sadly, Japan is still closed to independent tourism. I got in touch with the costumer service to notify them of the restrictions and it's impact on our holiday plans. They are refusing to give us a full refund because the 'flight haven't been cancelled'. Even if the flight does go ahead, no non-Japanese nations will be able to get off the flight in Tokyo! I'm incensed at the lack of common sense from the Travel Trolley team. We are now out of pocket for the sum of £1200!

Sadly I had a very bad experience with Aarti. Our tickets costing £1800 had to be cancelled two years ago due to covid. We were hoping to see family in the Philippines and it was our ‘life time’ holiday. They carried our credit over to the following year. Bad luck ,but we could not travel the following year for the same reason and we asked for a refund BUT they said they would only pay £1200 back from the original £1800. It seemed unreasonable and we could not afford to lose out on so much money so we decided to carry the credit over to this year. And the catch comes here… I contacted them today and I was informed with ‘lovely’ Aarti that the credit and ticket has expired so we have lost £1800. Now if we were travelling in Sept and the credit was carried over to the following year and same has been done again how can it expire in May? It is a lot of money to lose for a little family and is it fair to take it without any services provided? We asked for Aarti’s full name several times that We can refer to her but she was very reluctant to provide it. Even now I am unsure if it is her name and full name what she has given. I am going to contact their main office and putting a serious complaint in for their unfair and unreasonable costumer service.

I bought a ticket on Monday 20 June travelling to Johannesburg, assisted by an agent, she told your bank approved the payment, I will send your ticket to your email, same Monday afternoon I phoned I didn’t receive the confirmation of the ticket and she told me to check in my junk email couldn’t find it . I phoned them on Tuesday she told me not to worry she will send it again after checking my emails address had to spell it out again to check if it was not the wrong spelling. Wednesday I phoned same , told to check on spam , I told her I just did . At this point , I was panicking I could feel something wasn’t right. Thursday she kept me on hold for 35 minutes, I dropped and phoned again, a man answered, he asked questions and he dropped the phone.

An absolutely awful company, DO NOT EVER EVER use these to book holidays- worth paying extra to go direct The customer service team give you different information each time you ring, and having has to cancel a flight due to covid and then cancel the rebooked flight due to unforeseen circumstances, I have ended up paying ~£1000 extra if their hidden charges- despite them offering free cancellations They are awful, incompetent swindlers

It is now two years after we booked 4 flights to South Africa through Travel Trolley for £2,000. The flight to South Africa was cancelled due to Covid. I have been trying for 2 years to get access to the "voucher" or the "refund". Two years of not getting an answer from Travel Trolley. Two years of Travel Trolley asking me to call back in a few hours. Two years of Travel Trolley asking me to call back in a few days. Two years of Travel Trolley asking me to call back in a few weeks. Two years of Travel Trolley asking me to call back after a certain date... I still have no answer. They cannot tell me if I can have a voucher or a refund. What they can tell me is to call back in a few days. I have been calling back for 2 years and now I need answers. The "manager" has promised to call me within 2 hours, by the end of the day etc. Still no phone call. I am incredibly upset and angry. Customer service today called me arrogant. I asked him how he would be speaking had he been in the same situation. I am desperate which is very different to arrogant. I wait for the "manager" to call me back to explain where my refund is and when I will be seeing it in my bank account.

I’m not one to usually complain as I try to understand that everybody is just trying to do their job but I have to be honest this company has been the most awkward and unhelpful company I have ever dealt with my entire life. Every single time I phone and speak to 1 of the 10 agents I have had to in the past 18months I am always put on hold for At least 5-10 minutes for literally every single question I ask. It’s like travel trolley hasn’t provided the staff with any training as most of them don’t seem to to be able to answer even the most basic of questions based around trying to book or rebook a flight. I have lost count how many minutes I have wasted sat on the phone waiting to be given no real answer and to then be told we will give you a call back within a couple of hours which actually only 1 person ever has. The behaviour of this company is totally unacceptable in my opinion. People are paying them for a service and as a company they are failing miserable to provide this in the proper fashion. I have found dealing with travel trolley very stressful, very difficult and very unprofessional. They refused to give me a refund initially for flights to Canada that were cancelled due to COVID, I was told I had a travel voucher, I only found this out when trying to redeem my voucher, I actually had been given an open ticket which meant it was not transferable to any other destination and I only had 2 years to use it from the original departure dates which I was also never told in the emails or by any of the staff over the last 18months. They refused to extend the voucher even though Canada has been shut for travel the whole year. I can safely say I will 100% never be dealing with this company again. I am appalled at the level of service I have been provided over the last 18months. Booking a holiday should be a nice experience giving people something to look forward to, this company has well and truly ruined that for me and my family due to the hassle and stress they have put us through. I have logged a complaint with them officially and the email reply is shameful is my opinion! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!!

Regarding Traveltrolley and refunding cancelled flight tickets. Qatar Airways (and the law) say that we are entitled to a full refund for our cancelled flights. But Traveltrolley will only give the option of a Credit note or a refund LESS a £75 per person charge. This “cancellation charge” is not listed anywhere in their terms and conditions, so they are just trying it on. Do not book with them or their parent company Southall Travel.

This company cancelled my flights and charged me £75.00 for the pleasure ignorant staff who are currently quoting corona virus as the reason for them charging me for them cancelling if you want to keep your money please avoid them like the plague i have raised a complaint with ABTA please also note the parent company Southall Travel The terms and conditions that were attached to the invoice and are showing on the website clearly state that is they cancel i am entitled to a full refund of all monies paid, when i pointed this out to them they said they made a variation to the terms due to corona virus, i might not be a lawyer but i do believe that if any company makes changes to terms after you have paid you have the option to either accept the new terms or cancel and get a full refund they basically told me to sod off AVOID THEM I would also like everyone to note the number of 5 star reviews they are getting, seems strange that these people are either getting full refunds ??? when the vast majority are not, or are managing to book and receive flights when it is nigh on impossible during the current situation, smells of either paid for or employee bonus related reviews !!!!! to keep the % right

Never ever again. My flight has been cancelled by airlines and the agency wanted to charge me £75 if I refused their voucher and insisted on money refund!!! They wanna penalize me to keep their commission because the BA airlines cancelled the flight!!! They're mad.

Firstly I begrudge giving them even one star! Flights booked to travel on 13th April 2020. Flights cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We've spoken to the airline (Alitalia) 4 times, who have confirmed that we're entitled to a full 100% refund. They have confirmed that the funds have been sent back to Travel Trolley to pass on to us - the customer. Alitalia have left communications with Travel Trolley instructing them to refund us, but Travel Trolley are refusing to give us our money back and stating that Alitalia are only providing a credit note - which we know is not so. NEVER EVER EVER book anything with Travel Trolley. They have provided false information and have taken our money. Legal action ensuing

DO NOT USE. Had to cancel a flight due to Corona virus. The airline refunded them on 12th Mar 2020. They delayed sending a cheque to me until we were in lockdown. I had been chasing them for months before this. The cheque they sent bounced. I contacted again but they then use the excuse of Coronavirus so that they don't have to pay me until lockdown is over which could be months!!! The banks are open so they could make a same day transfer but are choosing not to. DISGUSTING behaviour!!

Please people avoid this inconsiderate Travel Trolley Ticket company like a plague!!!! This horrible company took the amount of £3966.12!!! The moment the my money left my account, TRAVEL TROLLEY came up with rubbish and bull stories and refused to return my money, or even send our purchased tickets for us (family of 6) including young children whom I have made promises that we are traveling this morning (31 Dec, 2019) we have all packed up with our 18 luggages lying everywhere in the house. My kids has been wearing long faces refusing to eat their meals and most annoyingly my kids believed that I lied to them! Their grandmas are so ill in the hospital expecting to meet with her grandchildren. I have lost so much money with With the bookings I have done both here in UK and Abroad. I booked and paid for cabs that will take us to the airport, paid for local flight abroad and not to mention the booking hotel expenses at this peck season! Travel Trolley promised me earlier that my money will be refunded by 09:00 on the 31/12/2019 morning instead They tried to trick us again this morning into buying another expensive tickets and also to pay extra £2500 if we really want to travel by new year day with British airlines and the idea is to keep ripping off our money with fake promises of selling travel tickets to us. I have reported to citizen consumer advice and Action Below is the payment link they sent to make the payment. ”Thank you for choosing TRAVEL TROLLEY for your bookings. Please find below the payment link for the amount of £ 3966.12” I also have screenshots of the payment page and recorded calls I had with them as proofs of my transaction with them. Please refund my money back into my account! How do you sleep in the night knowing fully well you caused so much pain and disaster to us. WARNINGS ⚠️ PEOPLE DON’T BOOK YOUR FLIGHT TICKETS OR ANY HOLIDAYS HOTELS WITH THEM!!! They will take your money and deliver your tickets!!!

when you ask about travel dates, they give the prices and makes us scared that price is the lowest and best and it will go up tomorrow and tried to sell the tickets. we fall as victim for that. tickets gone down to 300 pounds cheaper next week. even if you want to change any dates they will charge full ticket prices and told you so many reasons. Please be careful before purchase tickets and please double check.

Admittedly, it was my fault that I missed the first leg of my return flight to Johannesburg via Istanbul. It wasn't on purpose! I only just managed to catch the later flight, after being made to pay an additional 'fee' of £750 to Travel Trolley, who were very slow, rude and unsympathetic to my problem. The original (total) fare was only £405. It was simply 'legalized blackmail'. Upon return, after many emails, both to Travel Trolley and ABTA, jumping through all their 'hoops', I received nothing - not even an apology. Needless to say, I will never use them again. I agree that 1 star rating is too high for this crowd.

Beware - I specifically booked a British Airways flight but when the transaction was made it was operated by American Airlines. I rang Travel Trolley and they said as I didn't call them within 24 hours, it would be a lot more expensive. I have a feeling that they are getting rid of a lot more flights from other airlines under the duress of a better quality airline.

Taking Travel trolley to court, I'm looking to sue them till they pay all back but also shut this business down. Never mind about the lawyer fees as I will foot the bill myself. Please get in touch with me.
