This was the worst experience I’ve ever had using a travel company. I bought travel insurance in case something happened post COVID to to be able to change the date should anything go wrong , when did need to I change my flights I was unable to get through to the agency . Avoid

ONETRAVEL is absolutely one of the worst website for ticket. when you pick your flight it shows one price, once you buy that ticket you should check your credit card (online banking) you will see 5 different transactions that they charged you on top of ticket that you paid. It tells you to pick your seat without you knowing not telling you that there is hidden charges of almost 60% of your ticket price.I got charged for $350 because I picked my seat, then I noticed that they charged me $39 more on top of the ticket price for service fee.

This website is absolute trash. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. I booked a flight on the 23rd of December, and received a confirmation booking number, which I took a screenshot of and I thought I was done. I thought everything was good to go, and I could breathe easy over the holidays. I come back from the holidays to an email on the 3rd where I am informed that my booking "could not complete and needed a reentering of information". I do so, and find out that my flight went from $214 to $375. I called the next day to get my fare back, and was informed that there was "nothing they could do" because fares are "subject to change." I BOOKED MY FLIGHT AND RECEIVED CONFIRMATION, THAT SHOULD BE GUARANTEED. When I called, they also tried telling me that my card was declined due to insufficient funds (which was BS- I had just paid my credit card to zero, as I do monthly), and when I spoke to a manager, SHE tried to tell me it was because I entered my expiry date incorrectly. Now, they did call me later on the 23rd to inform me that there was a problem with my card, but I never received that message due to the holidays and I was heading out of town. So, I give them that credit. But, them trying to tell me it was my fault or my credit card's fault (called MasterCard, they never got a charge from Onetravel nor rejected any) and not taking any responsibility is unacceptable. Trash customer service and a BS website. if there was a problem with my credit card, I never would have gotten a confirmation booking number. Will never use this website again.

“didn't have confirmed seats”

My other half booked tickets for my son and I in business class. Received the booking confirmation number that also shows the airline confirmation number. Long story short just days before the trip I wanted to make sure my frequent flyer account was attached to the trip so went in to add it. Well it turns out our seats weren't confirmed. We aren't sitting together and the OneTravel customer service persons answer "well you changed your flight." Nope I didn't. It wasn't worth the argument so a long story short if you use them confirm you seats immediately with the airline and know they don't have your back at all!

“Nassau to Tallahassee”

As a Hotelier with 7500 associates and a wide network base, I find One Travel to be the WORST online booking agent ever, I started my vacation today and booked my airline accommodations with one travel. - with verify call back phone number #ending in 9543, paid $692.02 and was later told that I will not be able to make the connecting flight back to the Bahamas with no alternative given. I phoned spoke with 7 different agents on a ton of call with excessive wait between calls and no help received. I asked the owner and corporate email and was denied, I have made my vacations plans and now it ruin and cannot get my monies back at this time to make other arrangements. I can tell the world hold heartily and will utilize social media to the fullest to let everyone know, DO NOT USE ONE TRAVEL or its Affiliates like Cheapoir because if you have a challenge its the hardest thing in the world to get resolve please believe me. you cannot get any help from a Supervisor at all... they refuse to come to the phone... I now have to find additional monies to make other arrangements all because I cannot get my monies back today, ONE TRAVEL you will be black list in the BAHAMAS for sure. I asked that the owner of this company check your adverstiments as you do not offer what you advertise, one cannot get prompt service, do not handle customer issues, ask the customer for more monies when indeed its your error, you guys operate with sheer unprofessionalism... you don't care about the customer at all. online searchers book at your own risk of unwanted excessive wait time and frustration. take my word don't put yourselves through it. should have gone with PRICELINE.

“Poor customer service and ticket price hike ”

These people are rude! Website was easy enough to book through but when I needed to change the ticket dates, they quoted a price of $1500 PLUS their $300 change fee for a ticket advertised online for $858.00. Would NOT recommend to anyone!

“onetravel.com Low Price Promise is a Joke!”

I just booked a round trip flight from PHL to RDU with onetravel.com and was charged a total of $473. Then, I found out that I can get the same flight for a lot less (more than $100 less) if I booked the flight directly at the airline's website or other travel sites like Expedia. After I canceled the booking, I was told I would not get a full refund according to their Low Price Promise. I will not get a refund of the $70 service fee.

“LEFT STRANDED IN AUSTRAILIA NEW YEARS DAY”

before you use this this company , check their terms and conditions with a fine tooth comb, thy take your money but get out of their responsibilities by shifting the procedures to the airline. write down their name, ext number, get them to send you and email to confirm whats included and whats not and double check it./ They gave my family of 4 extra suitcases for travelling back from austrailia over xmas 2016 (travelling tomorrow ) my wife is from oz and we have two children we have to leave the kids presents here as they wanted 764 aud per suitcase, going home, checked 3 times before travelling and they confirmed it, had 8 suitcases coming out and on both flights confirmed yes it was allowed included in the price. flew london to brisbane china southern 8 suitcases 2 x 23kg each one ticket on the way back flew qatar they have on their website , 30kg because we are flying to the uk (into europe) , they did not tell us that part. rang one travel 6 times and sent 4 emails whilst on holiday and it took until the 1st january to respond (POOR!) the day before returning. The customer service is NON NEGOCIATABLE. A suoervisor was very argumentative (hello ???? wheres the service!!!), not even a agreeable solution ..... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, PAY A PROFESSIONAL AIRLINE WITH PROFESSIONAL SKILLS ESPECIALLY WHEN ISSUES ARISE. WHY WOULD I WANT TO TRAVEL 10000 MILES WITHOUT CHECKING FIRST WITH THE COMPANY WITH A YOUNG FAMILY. anyone using this site email me or contact me for what to check before using ONR TRAVEL

“Do not trust this company”

I made a flight booking through One Travel, and received a booking confirmation, with booking reservation number. When I arrived in transit at the Bogota airport, I was told at the check in counter that I was not on this flight. Obviously very stressed, I was able to get a wifi signal at a restaurant and get in contact with One Travel customer service representatives, who told me that my credit card had not been able to be charged, but it was no problem, I could simply buy a ticket direct from the airline there at the airport! I had not received any email or notification whatsoever that my payment had not been successful, and therefore had no idea that I was not booked onto this flight. Looking back, the only thing I can see is that the booking confirmation email had 'pending' in the E ticket number box. So I then spend the next 10 hours in the airport attempting to find and book a reasonably priced flight to my destination, which ended up being 50% more expensive than the flight I had originally booked months earlier (at least I believed I had booked it, considering I received an email titled "booking confirmation"). This was the poorest customer service I have received from any kind of travel booking company, leaving me in a vulnerable situation in a foreign country with no flight.

“Disappointing Service”

I booked a flight with OneTravel during Hurricane Matthew (October 2016). My flight was with Bahamasair and scheduled to leave Nassau at 11:00 on October 5th. The airline stopped operations at 10:00 that day due to the impending storm. I realize that OneTravel cannot control weather, but I was very disappointed in the responses I recieved from customer service over the following WEEKS. When I made it back to the states and called requesting a refund, OneTravel told me that only the airline could issue that. The phone number they gave me rang for an extended period of time and then I got an automated voice stating "all of our agents are busy, please stay on the line for next available operator." Then the call disconnected... every single time I called. I tried every other number on the webpage to no avail. When I called OneTravel again, they told me that I needed to deal with the airline to which I refused and told them all that I had done to get in contact with them (including all the phone calls and emails). They tried the number they provided me and got the same automated message then a call that disconnected. Rather than help at that time, they told me to email the company again and that I would have a response in 24-48 hours. 4 days later, when I still had not heard from Bahamasair, I contacted OneTravel. By this time, I had contacted the company which provided trip insurance. They agreed that the money should be refunded and provided the claim slip. The only thing I needed was a letter stating the flight was cancelled, which is why I was once again on the phone with OneTravel. This time they stated they would give the information to another department and someone would contact me in 2 business days. I have worked with third party booking companies before and never ran into this much trouble due to cancelled flights. I have never booked with OneTravel before this and from my experience I will not book with them again. The trip was meant to be relaxing, but after getting stuck for an extra 3 days, most spent in a hurricane shelter, and then working for a month to get my money back, it has been anything but!

Please do not waste your money. They have rude costumer service, they will change your flight dates without. Look out for the small print and if you need any changes it will not happen and the customer service rep talked to me like i was trash. I just could not believe it. I am warning you not to waste your money. Warning, warning, warning, warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Hidden costs”

Never used this site before so didn't notice the cheaper fair I was getting was the result of booking me an alternative travel date which of course. Had to cancel, received an airline credit and after paying the customary $200 change fee, I was also charged an additional $50 from the airlines for using an alternative site for the original booking.

“You are on your own”

I booked a flight and made a mistake called back an hour later, absolutely no assistance, we cannot do anything, you must call airline directly, called airline could not change except pay full fare again, Airasia, lost my tickets and money, No Help, Nothing, Onetravel , I never forget, Beware, once you buy you are on your own.

“THE WORST EVER!”

I guess we cannot rate them with zero, but I would if I could. I have booked a minor online 2 months ago for July and have tried every since to have ONE TRAVEL book the unaccompanied minor fee for me. I have called several times and after not being able to help me and knowing I am upset their standards is, believe it or not, to ask if I would you like to book another service with them. REALLY. They made me call the airline, which I did, but it has to be done by the agency and I got them the exact instructions of what one travel has to do to book the service, I have send this to them several time and believe it, I still do not have the service. The worst, please do not use this agency.

“Don't use One Travel”

We booked a flight to Europe on Norwegian Air. Their website indicated the flight had been delayed from 7PM to Midnight. Checking back later on the website it indicated a further delay, leaving the following afternoon. When we checked with OneTravel the agent indicated that they did not record any delays and that the flight was leaving as indicated on our eticket. I mentioned the website information variance and was then placed on hold while they checked. They got back and said the flight was still unchanged. We then called Norwegian Air and they said that indeed the flight was changed until the following day as indicated on the website. Imagine if we had relied on OneTravel and sped to the airport only to be told there was no flight today and that it was leaving tomorrow! Never Again!!

“Nightmare dealing with customer service ”

I am writing this review so that people can avoid experiences like I had. First of all, One travel has one of the worst customer service.The airline has changed my flight so I was trying to cancel the flight and get a refund. I made numerous phone calls but customer service representatives say different things each time. Good luck when you buy a ticket. If there's any adjustment (not even from you), you won't get a help... Travel agents don't understand what your needs are. And I bought a travel insurance too but their policy doesn't protect customer. Second of all I never have felt so terrible after I talked to the customer service in my life. And one of supervisor threatened me if I want my money back or not.. and told me to stop complaining. I hope they are joking... I spent $2000 for this trip. Of course I don't want to loose my money. Avoid if you can.

“Worst I ever had”

It is worst airline I ever had. I took frontier from Philadelphia to Miami. I booked it on line and the price was good but the company hide the price and they charge from carry on luggage to sign seat online but that was not worst yet. When I was back from the Miami, initially We were told the airplane was delayed so We waited in the airport for 5 hours until last minute they announced the flight was cancelled because the plane could not leave NYC which they should have known before but let every body wait. The flight cancelled but they did not offer any help besides reimburse for one way ticket, no help for another flight, no Vouch. Some customer were complaining the service, they threaten call security or police. We have to find a hotel near the airport and book another airline ticket back to Philly with much high price. When we called customer service only had very bad service.
