Disappointing Site.
We used this holiday site to book a stay in Brittany at a place called Coat Aillis near Plestin les Greves, Lannion.The gite turned out to be awful despite the glowing advert on the holidayfrancedirect site. The holiday was a total waste of money. We felt we were duped by the advert and the owners of the site. Holiday sites have a responsibility to check their sites and ensure that information is correct. Our gite was dirty, uncared for with old equipment and tatty showers. The gite complex was run down with broken and unsafe play eqipment, a scruffy games room and a freezing cold (heated!) swimming pool.The holiday was the worst we have ever experienced in France.
Totally untrue. We enjoyed our visits to beaches and places of interest. The holiday was spoilt by returning to the tatty gite, the run down site, roaming dogs, the broken down games room and the freezing swimming pool. We complained to the owners when beetles/insects fell on to bedding during the night. The embarrassed owners offered a refund but the check bounced. This is an honest review of our experience.
These people had 5 days of torrential rain and consquently criticized everything, we had clients who were happy who could cope with the elements but these people were more difficult to please. We have been in business more than 20yrs and never had such demanding clients a look at our Trip Advisor page shows over 50+ positive views. We always try our best to please clients so their stay is enjoyable but with these people that was not possible.
