I can see that it all seems like a 5 stars rating for the customer service of ASAP TRAVELS!!!!! Well…..not for me I barely gave ratings because of my hectic schedule at work but this time I will find time and sit with these zero star ratings to this Travel Agency. In the beginning when these travel agents called you about their tickets, they were extremely nice, well no offense but I told them after passing through many customer service over the phone and dealing with my concern for more than a hour, no considerations offered at all, AND NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I made my ticket reservations last March and planned to travel this November. I was pushed and never stopped encouraging me to purchase travel insurance with them that cost $298 for 2 people. I asked if for some reason I need to change my travel date, do I need to pay for that? I was told one time change will be waived, and I will have nothing to pay… for the second time I need to pay.I never buy insurance with a travel agent from the past just this time I always buy through my bank. Now, things happen, we had an emergency. I cannot travel this November because my husband is going through a brain surgery and I cannot leave him in that situation. I called ASAP Customer Service and asked if they could hold my ticket and will just CALL lthem when I have my dates of travel. Here comes the worst part, changing dates I will be charged for $130.00 CAD each and of course whatever the price difference of my new date of travel I am aware that I need to pay for that!!!! And again $298.00 CAD airline penalty(per person). THey can hold the ticket but me and my son needs to comeback on or before March 8, so lazy to explain to me why til March 8 only, since I’m too exhausted for everything I considered his other option to just cancel and refund the money with a total money lost of $894.00CAD!!!!! After I finished my conversation with this unfriendly CS guy, I called Sayonara, the travel agent that I reserved my flight with, and she was like why did they mention that we can only hold your ticket reservation til March? And I’m like I don't know you never mention that one to me when you were pushing me to go and consider your travel insurance with this so on and so forth benefit but it is actually a useless insurance!!! Then there you go. When she saw that I made the reservation in March she told me that it is valid for 1 year and she never told me that in the beginning!!! Also I purchased that travel insurance that she’s selling because all I know, incase of some emergencies like this, insurance will pay for the penalties in the airlines..but it is a BIG NO!!! If you guys will still consider purchasing your ticket with ASAP, NEVER EVER BUY THAT TRAVEL INSURANCE THAT THEY WERE SELLING THAT'S BULLSHIT!!! And USELESS!!! And they also ask for a complimentaryTIP. !!!! when you are paying the ticket at the end it won’t let you go through if you do not give a what they call “COMPLIMENTARY TIP” WITH THEIR SERVICES!!!! I will never ever use ASAP again And I will certainly tell all my friends and family to not purchase their ticket in this Travel Agency Ever!!!
