I made the booking and of course the payment and was told that I would receive an e mail of the booking that day. It did not arrive and I called them the following morning. I was told that there was a 'problem ' there was only 1 seat available on the flight. They then told me he could get flights from airport just up the road which turned out to be 30 miles away and meant my son would have to drive havng only a few hours sleep before doing a 12 hour shift. I called them immediately and was told that I would loose all my money when asked for booking to be cancelled after being called back by Manager the 'terms and conditions' quoted over the phone mentioned that other airports may be used . I argued my case with the director and questioned their selling methods.......why did they not check availabity of seats on the flights before confriming and taking my money. He was obnoxious and it was obvious that this was their method of selling holidays and constantly repeated that the 'terms and conditions ' stated blah blah blah. Please be aware of their under handed methods of conning you into booking what you think is a good deal!!!!!

I got the exact same excuses and reasons they must be reading from a book! the 1 seat left dilemma and T&C's read out that doesn't actually explain anything!

i now also flying from Portugal to Brussels to Manchester when it was originally confirmed i would be flying there and back from Portugal via Birmingham till there was only one seat left on our flight! outrageous company... no twitter either which shows they cant handle the abuse they get!

321 Travel are not here to get 'abuse' from these type of customers. We also do have a Twitter account and have done for nearly 2 years.

Again, you were called to be offered an alternative when no money had left your card, you are of course at liberty to decline the offer and book elsewhere. What we cannot do is have an offer accepted and booked, then cancel it for free after we have confirmed that booking.

If the holiday you tried to confirm is not available for whatever reason, there is absolutely no problem in you declinging to proceed with any other holiday with us. From time to time this can happen, normally at peak periods and sometimes customers prefer to 'go back to the drawing board' and have another look online. No problem.

Looks like their terms and conditions are meant to snare customers and help them keep money. That is the lowest ebb of customer service and rather than reading the small print I would advise everyone to just steer clear of 321 travel. Avoid avoid avoid

Let me just clear up the procedure.

You made a booking request, at this point NO payment was taken. To say you made a booking and paid is not true, at this point we are trying to confirm your holiday and would never take money until we have a secure booking. In this instance we could not secure the seats and you would have been called back to offer any alternatives available, but again, NO money would have left your bank account.

Your son was indeed called and offered an alternative which he accepted, we then booked this holiday and took the money. Later on you called to cancel it, but at this point it had already been confirmed and full cancellation fees apply.

Just to clear it up, a booking request was made, we tried to get that confimred, no money was taken. We could not confirm the holiday and called back to offer alternatives available within the budget. The passenger then accepted one of those alternatives, we booked it and took the payment. Later on you tried to cancel the holiday, cancellation fees apply.

This is merely just to clear up the innacuracies in your story above.

No not at all: had my name wrong on the boarding card for flight back from Palma. We printed these before our holiday & made 321 Travel aware of this issue. They assured they would sort this before my return and told me to still go ahead with my holiday. To cut a long story short the company didnt do anything about my situation which resulted in having to pay at for a new flight as they messed me around for that long in Palma airport- took me hours to get hold of anyone we even tried the day before our flight home several times so last day of our holiday was ruined. 321Travel promised to refund any costs I occurred on my return whilst I was in the airport trying to get home. It took me 11 months I think all through which they refused to refund me and only refunded me once I put a bad review on this website. Never got a proper apology or any sort of compensation or even a bloody voucher. Would not recommend to anyone.
