paid in full for hotel in january. arrived sept and told booking cancelled in june.agent bankrupt. had to pay E100 per night to get the room i paid for. all the phones on the agents website and my documentation have been disconnected and customer service email is returned undeliverable. Cannot contact 118 travel NOR Lastcheck nor the parent company mid counties coop.their ads claim all holidays fully guaranteed and protected but no means oc claiming on the insurance cover they aid they had

booked with this company in 2013 &couldnt of asked for better service etc,booked this year (2014) & all we've had is problems,charged us more for our holiday than we found online,kept me waiting on phone for hr&half,charged more for times of flight change,havent responded sufficiently or adequautely to our e-mails,made a complaint & it hasnt been dealt with,never using this company again - avoid!!!! absolutely horrendous experience!!! couldnt understand a word of what the staff were saying at customer services&wouldnt answer or deal with our complaints. still havent.

Booked in Dec13 and then told in May [2 weeks before departure] the booking agency had folded and 118 want another £157 with no gaurentee off getting the same hotel. Customer service is mind boggling traumatic. DO NOT. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I have read the other reviews and searched the internet due to my suspicions about this company. Low and behold I am not the only person to experience such poor customer service!!! They give you a reservation number saying they will contact you in 48hrs - no contact. So I call them and find out it is more expensive over the phone. I was actually looking online, their website and I could see the price being quoted. The customer service rep told me he couldn't see this but could only find the same details but at a higher price. The rep was very rude, argumentative, so so unhelpful. He seriously needs customer service training!!!! So as I type I have a holiday reservation number that they do not recognise, I have no confirmation and they have my card details.....worried.....ABSOLUTELY!!! Do not put yourself through the hassles like me. See 118Travel and RUN. Go and use a more reputable company for piece of mind. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

We booked our holiday with them a few days later they call up saying they want to take a higher deposit rather than what is on their email confirmation / website when booking. They then want to add on loads of extras at a higher price than on the website and say transfer are £90 each rather than free as what it said on the website when we booked. Needless to say I have just cancelled this with them and I will be booking elsewhere. I hadn't of heard of these previously and will never use nor recommend to anyone again. Stay away form these people, one word, terrible

To start with it was very reasonable price, so wasn't too sure if I can trust this company, however red some reviews and went for it. I had to make some changed to our booking before we left and staff on the phone seem to be very helpful and friendly. Gives a call back if required.Had no problems with our booking.

printing boarding passes i was at a loss when i phoned 118 i spoke to a very helpful member of staff who tried to tutor me on how to do them after a few attemps the staff member suggested they print and post to me i thank them very much as they arrived next day 9am i have used 118 for 3 years and can only praise them for there good customer service and will continue to use them but for future holidays will learn how to print

Do not use this company online to book a holiday ,,,the cost will be complete guess work that's if the holiday exists, They will call you back a few days later to give excuses on why it does not exist ,excuses like the flights have gone up etc are all to common,and you have given them your card details , cocky little so and so on the phone ,I wonder if they will be like this when your face to face with them .? I think not . So in summary ..YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had read some of the previous reviews thinking that the company cannot be as bad as they seem, but they really are. When booking you see the total price of your holiday right up to the confirmation email that they send you with a note that the price may vary slightly, but the actual price quoted when a rep rings you to actually fully confirm your booking is vastly more that what you see when booking. The customer service is the worst I have every experienced. The rep was very rude, had no patience and cut me off mid sentence when I was asking him to explain why the price has went up so drastically. The rep was also a lair, When I said that I would call him back to give a final decision as to if I wanted to proceed with booking, he rang me back within a few hours saying that the hotel was fully booked but he had one at a slightly later date, for a even higher price. When I rang a different rep on a different phone and quoted the exact same holiday, they were rooms available. I will never use this disgraceful service again and am appalled that this company is allowed to get away this behaviour

I booked a holiday with 118travel in good faith and expected to receive a call confirming this having already had confirmation of my booking. Instead, I received a call to say my flights had gone up in price so would I pay more? The man was rude, unwilling to listen and did not follow up the call to confirm they would be destroying my card details. Don't use them, they are merely a dressed up budget airline and hotel matching service. Nothing you can't do on other websites but without the discourteous service from this lot.

I will never use 118 Travel again. They are unprofessional, rude and unreliable. As soon as they have your money, you can't get hold of them. The prices always seem to change and you end up paying much more than you thought you would. I am very unsatisfied and will be very careful of staff that work there. They seem to withhold information intentionally eg, flight itinerary and give you details only when prompted (nagged)....that's if you can get hold of them, as the person I was dealing with never seemed to answer her phone or return my endless messages. The are extra charges for everything which are extortionate. I would definitely NOT recommend this awful company. They have nothing to offer, except a very stressful experience when trying to book what should be a relaxing, enjoyable holiday. Be warned, stay away!!

Initial booking of holidays has been quick and easy, however NEVER the price advertised always a little bit more. We have booked with 118 travel twice. One holiday was fine, we got exactly what we paid for and expected for the price we paid. The second holiday was completely abysmal. Please see trip advisor for my in depth review of the Paschalia Hotel, which is where 118 travel placed us. The hotel was dire, we were racially abused, the manager wouldn't speak to us, the list is endless! We checked out of the hotel the following day having done everything we were advised we must do, make a complaint wait fo r the manager to try and rectify etc etc. I would also add we were not the only family complaining at this hotel, in fact there were many! We made an official complaint in writing the day after we arrived home this was in Oct 2012, 118 Travel have still not dealt with it. Almost 6 months on!!! I will never book with them again, they have taken our money, are still offering a substandard hotel as three star, and I think it's fair to say that they think if they palm you off long enough you will just forget about it. Take the risk if you must, but be aware, a cheap holiday may turn into an expensive one when you have to pay to move hotels, and like us you will not get a penny in compensation out of them. Please be careful.

Do not book with 118 Travel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! •The site does NOT sell package holidays but a combination of a wide range of low cost, scheduled and charter flights. This means you are not booking a package holiday in the traditional sense, so you will not get ATOL protection on all elements of your holiday both flight and accommodation – do you want to take the risk.. If your booked on low cost flight such as easy jet and they go bust your on your own..

Can i just say... Although 118 travel do not sell package holidays which it clearly states on their website their prices are a hell of alot cheaper than your traditional package. They are an Abta and atol bonded company which when it comes to these low cost flight holidays you are not covered HOWEVER they do include in their prices Supplier Failure Insurance which means if any of the flight company's, hotel companys or transfer companies fail you will get your money back through the insurance

This review is completely incorrect. All 118Travel's holidays are fully ABTA and ATOL/Flight Plus protected AND are covered by SFC (Supplier Failure Cover). Perhaps the reviewer should get their facts straight before writing such an inaccurate and misleading review!!!

I am very disappointed with 118 Travel regarding the misleading or wrong prices listed on the search engine sites they use. A holiday to Hurghada was 574 per person but this was not the price shown when accessing the 118 Travel site. They were actually selling the holiday for 861 per person. I have wasted my morning dealing with this company and felt they treated me with disrespect and disregard.

Have just returned from a fantastic 10 day holiday in Olu Deniz. There is always a worry when booking a holiday through a site that I have never used before but have to say I could not fault the process or the holiday. Brilliant price, brilliant location and brilliant staff and service at the hotel likewise with the transfers booked through 118 travel. I would definitely return to the Tonoz Beach Hotel and to Turkey and wouldn't hesitate to use this site again. Could not fault anything about the location or the holiday as a whole.

Great customer service when it comes to after sales. I had to call them to change my dates of travel. As it was a local call and not some high premium number it made it even more easier, they answer the phone and you actually talk to a person, personal service through and through. The person I spoke to helped me with my changes, was very patient and was even genuinely sympathetic at the airline charges for changes. The original hotel we had booked were fully booked so I had to look for another one, where the operator helped me find an alternative, a good choice too. Will definitely go through 118 Travel again next time I book my holidays. The only thing I will check is the airline, I know the booking is made through the cheapest budget airlines, but I would rather pay that little bit extra on a 4.5 hour flight.

Just back from a weeks holiday at the Maritim Antonine hotel in Mellieha Malta with my finace. We had no problems with 118 travel and the service was excellent. The transfers were punctual and the drivers were freindly characters. The hotel is of a good standard overall and breakfasts are excellent. We were lucky with the room we were given as it was a corner plot with a balcony facing the main street looking down to the bay - we did request this from the operator. Some areas of this hotel have damp issues especially the underground 'tunnel' linking the two buildings and the smell down there was quite bad. Another couple said to us the rooms over the reception area had the same problem. The rooms are nicely modernised, well cleaned but some of the finishes (eg workmanship) left a little to be desired. Staff were also friendly and professional throughout. Great pools and facilities too. Would recommend to friend. Daniel M

A last minute cheeky week in Turkey to see some sunshine. The accommodation was great, excellent location quiet but close to the action, friendly and helpful staff and lovely riverside views. Dalyan in September/October still has plenty to do and see and the weather is perfect for sunbathing and sightseeing. My only criticism of the whole package was the impossibly small seat pitch on the Thomas Cook plane.Anybody over 5'7 would struggle. However, the admin & customner service from 118 was great, I'd book again without hesitation just try to avoid a Thomas Cook flight!

Me and my wife wanted a peacefull holiday, not to hot and not to cold with beautiful scenery, and after months of searching after work I found the Hotel Flora Mar in Cala Galdana, Menorca, the clif walks where beautiful and the hotel room a good size, we stayed B&B, the breakfast was ok with a wide enough range to allow a bit of variety, but the menu did not change much over the week, but tasted ok. The room was quite large with dining area and kitchenette, the bathroom was quite large with bath, wc and bidet. The hotel staff where all friendly and the hotel clean ovearall, maid service was regular. My only criticism is that the tile grout is looking a little tired and a few chrome fittings are a little rough looking. There was also an electrical wire above the cooker hood that although connected with an electrical connector, was not not protected with insulation tape, would have prefered to see a connector box. Above all though a great holiday. Service from 118 was fantastic, would use again.
