Wonder Wrapped In Luxury

Well, one of the world's most sought after luxury destinations, Burj Al Arab is certainly a hotel, I would like to stay at. Recently my boss and his family stayed at the hotel. The experience they shared with me about the hotel has motivated me to spend atleast a few days at this hotel. Looking forward to stay at this hotel on my next trip to Dubai.

Great!

The hotel was lovely and overlooked the 7 star burj al arab hotel. All of the staff were very attentive and helpful. Lovely rooms, lovely atmosphere and of course, located in the best country in the world! DUBAI!

I Stayed At The Burj Al Arab In November, I Arrive

I stayed at the burj al arab in November, I arrived at the hotel just after staying at the Al Qasr, Al Qasr was awesome, the day beds at the beach and the personal waiter service was fantastic, food there was amazing to. the welcome party we recieved was like no other, needless to say I never thought it could be beat. So lets say I was alittle surprised when we arrived at the Burj, we was greeted by the staff and escorted upto our floor where our personal butler was introduced to us, the butler talked us around our 2 story 2 bedroom suite, the besuite was on 2 levels with floor to ceiling windows, we had 2 dining areas, infact we had 2 of everything :)

It's Been A Holiday Of A Lifetime Staying At Burj

It's been a holiday of a lifetime staying at Burj Al Arab. What an amazing hotel! It's got to be experienced to know the sheer luxury of this place. I saw pictures on the internet to get an idea of what it would look like, but the pictures don't do justice to what you see in reality , to see it for real was really something. Overall a huge thumbs up!

If You Like Watching Changing Rooms, And Like What

If you like watching changing rooms, and like what they do you will love the Burj Al Arab rooms ! because thats what they look like.

As a travel agent I had high hopes on this hotel and it failed.......big time I will not go back to this hotel.

If you like the rooms to look like a CHAV hotel you will enjoy your stay. Its all BLING!!

Maybe I am being over the top but its the hotel that's done it!! If you like over the top hotels it's for you.

My Husband And I Just Came Back From 2 Nights At T

My husband and I just came back from 2 nights at the Burj Al Arab, followed by 3 nights in Al Maha - (see my other comment) in September, and it was fantastic. Our flight got us there at 9am, and we knew we couldn't check in until 2pm, so thought we would just shower and sunbathe for a few hours. However, the lady that greeted us advised us that they had given us a complimentary upgrade to a two bedroomed suite. This thing was huge - like bigger than your house! The butlers were lovely, Gary now wants one at home to provide coffee and newspaper for him while he's on the internet of a morning!! The Al Mahara restaurant seafood was fantastic and Gary tailor made his meat menu with the waiter, who couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. The bar that sits out over the gulf is amazing, if not a bit dizzying, but you just have to have a few cocktails before dinner! The golf buggies were cool and took us to the private beach club, which is next to the Madinat. We had a lovely lunch there, and then had some sundowners over at the Jumierah Beach Hotel on the way back. We love this city. It gets better every time. We took a taxi out to our favourite places Vus (at the Emirates Towers) and Carters (Wafi City).

By this time it was pretty late, so back to the Burj bar for a night cap, which then turned into drinking the complimentary bottle of red wine in our suite, Puff Daddy style in dressing gowns! Wonderful! If you would like to check out our previous trips to Maldives, Mauritius, Bahamas, Cuba, Sri Lanka, etc please visit us at www.janetandgary.com

The Burj Was Designed To Be The Best Hotel In The

The Burj was designed to be the best hotel in the world. We, as a family can not dispute this. The outstanding design of the hotel, the staff, the d cor, the level of comfort all exceeded our expectations. As each room is a two story apartment there more than enough room and as you explore your way around the appartment it just gets better and better. Your butler is always there to assist regardless of the time - (we put this to the test). Our children loved it and were amazed at the high tech suite fittings - electronic curtains, cctv etc. Our eldest thought it was like a James Bond world. The marvelled at the dancing waterfalls in the reception area and at night the balls of fire exploding from the outside fountain. What ever your age, I can not recommend the burg highly enough.

Burj Al Arab - You Have Your Own Butler, Each Room

Burj Al Arab - You have your own butler, each room is actually a suite over two floors, some have their own lift to get you up to your bedroom. 40 inch plasma TVs, closed circuit TV to see who is outside your room. You get picked up from the airport in a Rolls. When sunbathing, they bring you iced water and cool towels every 15 minutes. The food is the best I have tasted anywhere in the world - real gold leaf is quite an exotic ingredient! There is the Wild Wadi water park adjacent to the hotel which you can use free, but to be honest, we just stayed in the hotel.

I don't care where you have been or stayed, this will almost certainly be better than any of them. Do shop around for prices, from the UK, we found Cresta to be the most cost effective.

If you do go, go and do some dune surfing in a 4 wheel drive, it's great fun.

am going back this July (would have gone last July but the swimming pool was being refurbished). May do the wild wadi, but at the end of the day its just a water park, and having done water parks all over the world, they tend to become like Holiday Inns - 'samey'.

Thanks for the reminder tip on the Mini Bar, that'll be me down the 'offy' then!

whaaaat? u didnt go to wild wadi???? u missed out on such a lot! ive been there 3 or 4 times- used to live in the U.A.E, it is brilliant.

I have to agree with all that you have said. My wife and I went in 2004 for our 1st anniversary and we were very nervous but we were made to feel very welcome and everyone was so friendly. We would love to return, money permitting.

Word of advice, STAY AWAY FROM THE MINIBAR!! I had to do the currency converion a couple of times I thought I had made a mistake (£100 for a bottle of Beefeater Gin, the same for a bottle of Jonnie Walker Black). Each room, sorry suite has its own lounge, office area downstairs toilet, dressing area, bathroom and bedroom.

Would recommend to anyone who has ever wished to be in the lap of luxury..Enjoy!!
