Delfin Verde Hotel

A fantastic holiday - plenty to do if you want, relax on the beach or at the pool - rooms air conditioned if you need a siesta and English TV too plus Sky News so you can watch the awful weather at home and feel GOOD!!!!

Kids club looked good - ours too old but plenty of others joined in.

Hotel entertainment team very good and put on some good shows.

Overall 10/10 for everything.

We now have the bug to start saving and go again.

This was an excellent holiday. The Delfin Verde Hotel was very clean, rooms were very clean with sheets being changed every day. The meals were varied and of good quality. The entertainment was good on the evenings and the children loved joining in all the poolside activities (while we adults could do our sunbathing)!

The kids club was very good and well ran. The spirits may not be named spirits but the are just the same and just as strong! Be careful! The poolside bar staff are very good and friendly and it is a credit to them how hard they have to work. Leave your change for them as a tip when you go.

You will see how much they deserve it at the end of your holiday! There is a water park very near by and although not the biggest we have been to, was very adequate for a day out. There is a little go kart track nearby which the kids (and dads) will love. The beach is about 10 mins away and is a good day out (if you like beaches). The beds are only 2.35 Euro for the day so it's not too expensive. The trips I would recommend are the Pirates night which is quite expensive but everyone will enjoy that. A visit to the caves/market is well worth it too. It will be cheaper if you book your trips at one of the little shops you can find. It can work out half the price of booking through the rep. Sorry reps!

Now for my only moan. The sunbeds. There were plenty to go round if people didn't panic. Some people were queueing from 7am even though the poolside doors didn't open until 8:30. They were putting their towels down then going for their breakfast/trip/sleep. We could still get beds coming down for 9:30 but the amount of unoccupied beds with towels on were ridiculous! It seems to be acceptable to do this but I've been to many places where they stop it and there really is no problem. You usually find the people who have been in the sun from 9 am will drift off about 1 or 2 pm. It's only the diehards who stay in the sun all day! When these people left (who reserved the beds) there was no problem. The hotel was still full but there was no panic. I hope the people who were doing this read this review. The rest of us thought you were mad!!!!

Overall we had an excellent holiday and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I would definitely want to go back to the Delfin Verde Hotel because I loved it.
