Silver Beach Hotel Kardamena

The Silver Beach is a basic hotel but super location - literally a five second walk to the beach, with sun loungers, the smaller of two beaches in Karadmina. Lots of places to get food in the evening (and day) are close by and very convenient for pubs. The two best clubs out there are Starlight and Status but theres a nice Irish bar with a really hot barman called Pat who my mate pulled (well tried to)!

Hotel rooms are cleaned daily, very good size, have a balcony etc and our room had a rly nice sea-view.

Hope to go back this year... would recommend!

Silver Beach Hotel in Kardamena, Kos was very basic, and although you book it as self catering, there are no facilities to cook, or even store food! Apart from the hotel, Kardamena itself was lovely! We went in September 2005 and the weather was still fantastic. The bars were lively, and the people (apart from those in the hotel) were very friendly. Favourite Restaurant was Alexander, with fantastic food and a stunning male PR who I managed to bag (just wish I could have taken him home with me). I love karaoke, so Kardamena was great, especially the Metro bar, which was the only bar I could find playing music after 12am, as they are sound proofed, and there are rules out there about late night music. Status was good for R&B/Hip Hop music, and the Kings arms had the most friendly staff, and appeared to be where loads of the PR's hung out after work.
