Daphne Apartments

Cockroach in our room when we arrived at 3am. Charlie the host got the other guests drinking at the bar, we went to bed. That went on till about 6am screaming and shouting, we didn't sleep a wink. I went to ask about using the safe the following morning an overheard another guest complaining about the partying te nigh before, saying that it had been happening for the last two weeks and he has flew is pregnant daughter and their boyfriend home! Great I thought, swiftly went and brought earplugs. I asked twice for our safe to be looked at, ended up fixing it ourselves. The fridge fuse had gone, when I asked for it to be looked at the owner went on asking why hadn't asked before, no apology that it didn't work. Only a few days through the holiday, brought some bacon and bread to make breakfast in our self catering apartment, only to realise their are no cooling facilities. Complete shambles. Hotel was unclean, prices at the bar were awful and the woman who runs the place is an absolute nightmare.

Bed sheets weren't changed once during the week, nor were the towels. You have to provide your own toilet paper. She steals your passports away, things like phones got stolen from rooms. Air con is an expensive optional extra, as is the safe. Untidy room? You get fined. Got told we weren't allowed anything that wasn't from the pool bar, by the pool, including bottles of water! Since she has your passports she threatened to kick us out if we didn't pay a fine. Simply, do not go here.

We didnt stay at the rooms but the pool was cleaned every day the staff are very kind an have a giggle.

You should go its the place to be going next year try the garden bar too.

The Daphne Apartments pool was clean, owners were great! Rooms were generally clean. Everything was broken! Air conditioning was expensive, bathroom stunk!! Drainage problems, awful. Was a real good holiday but I wouldn't recommend it. The blue pool staff were amazing!! And there is a BBQ night on Tuesdays!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Its a great place. I loved it at the Daphne apartments we stayed there for a week in September 2007. It was our first holiday and we loved it they were all nice to us especially the staff who run the blue pool and the staff in the Bliss Bar. If no one has been you should check it out. The only bad points were none of the telephone boxes were working in the resort you had to walk for ages

The apartments were nice and central, not too noisy and cleaned daily. The beach was a short walk away as were the shops. The food at the pool bar was good and reasonable. Kardamena was great fun even for families.

Kardamena, Daphne Apartments - Stayed there in May and all the beds were soaked.

No safe in room, very very very dirty, nowhere to sit, not enough crockery, infested with ants, every cupboard door drops off, rep looked at room, said we could not stay then charged us £200 to move us (we got £500 back upon return to UK).

The rooms at Daphne Apartments are very small but they are very clean, the blue pool is always well kept so you can swim with the knowledge you wont be getting any infection.
