Skala, Natalie Studios

We found the Natalie very good for the price, the rooms were kept spotless and the staff really work hard to make the holiday as friendly as possible. Nice little bar for a drink before the evening meal recommend the lamb chops in the taverna Apostolis opposite. The Natalie is at the top of the main road and the hill can be a bit much if you are getting on in years. My wife and I would go back to the Natalie and we will remember with much pleasure

Natalie apartments, modern, very clean, very quiet, ordered, help if you need it otherwise you're left alone.

Resort a quarter of mile strip of tavernas, bars and tourist shops , a bubble for tourists, 25 minutes and you've bottomed it.

Average age of tourist in June seemed around 50. Second week in June and weather consistently sunny with welcome breeze. I found it to be as expensive as Venice or New York. I struggled to find anything anywhere that started under a Euro. When the budget flights stop being so because of the price of aviation fuel, this place will probably be an expensive option. Safer than safe, locals leave doors open and car windows open didn't see a policeman in a week.

Buildings all modern and there are no back alleys.

There is a strip of light blue sky, a strip of dark blue ocean, some white sand or pebbles and green and ochre its unremitting. Wildlife is minimal outside of swallows and swifts, the Med is mostly empty close to shore,

If you want to 'chill out' or more realistically 'toast out' good place, if you want to immerse yourself in Greece-run.

Tavernas to some extent very similar the Aquarius seemed to try the hardest. Food wise go to Katelios 10 minutes by car down the coast where there are authentic and even cheaper Tavernas which are fish based. The Katelios Taverna is English run but Greek cooked.

Our general opinion is that the Natalie Studios is ideal for couples or groups, and it is very good value for money, the euro has a big impact on spending capacity but we thought the trips both coach and boat to be good value, the car and scooter hire was also a good value.

We would certainly consider returning to the Natalie Studios. Excellent value.

Me and My husband very much enjoyed our stay at the Natalie Apartments in Skala. Skala is a lovely area. Worth visiting if you are not staying there. Natalie's has a happy hour every night from 7.00 pm to 8 pm and everyone is made to feel very welcome.

I thought Skala Natalie Studios was an amazing place. Lots to do and see. The beaches at Kephalonia were beautiful, the poeple are so friendly and make you feel really welcome, lots of towns nearby to visit, the food is very nice and very cheap, places at night to go if you're up for a dance (although it happens behind closed doors so that it does not spoil the traditional greek style restaurants and bars for the other holiday makers) i had the best time ever, made alot of friends and i'm going back in May 04. Cant wait!

Skala is a beutiful working village adapted for the tourists in the summer months. We stayed in Natalie Studios in Skala you eat and drink amongst the locals and get to know them all.

Each year we go back and the villagers always stop and talk and remember us from the previous years.

Eating out is of execellent quality with prices to suit all budgets.

The beach is clean and the water shallow initially but then there is a steep drop, so take extra care if your a non swimmer

Head for turtle beach all sand and shallow. Skala is one street of bars and restaurants catering for tourists. There is no traditional greek life here inspite of thompson brochure saying it is unspoilt. Studios basic no sea views.
