Allow Me To Introduce Myself. I Am A V.i.t .very

Allow me to introduce myself. I am a V.I.T .Very Important Teddy! I jet off all over the world. Many envy me but there is a serious purpose to all this. I belong to Macmillan Cancer Care and the lovely people who take me away are all friends helping to raise funds for Macmillan. In exchange for my company the holidaymakers pay my "fare" and can raise sponsorship for my travels. It's great for me. So far this year I have flown over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter, ridden "The Maid of the Mist" at Niagara Falls, snorkelled on The Great Barrier Reef and got rather worse for wear on a stag weekend to Las Vegas where I ended up being tied, naked, to a lamp post by the Best Man! He even took a photo to prove it.

My latest jaunt exceeded all these, it was everyone's dream come true, Pam and Dave took me on the holiday of a lifetime to see the semi final and the final of the FIFA World Cup in Japan! I studied the guide books before we went. Good job I did, drunkenness is not tolerated, neither is blowing your nose in public, oh, and forget singing in the street, that's not allowed either. I had been warned, "be on your best behaviour."

Pam and Dave looked after me really well.

We did so much that week. One day we visited Mount Fuji and rode a cable car into the Harkone Mountains. I did get a bit worried when the guide climbed into our gondola and began praying as we lurched away from the base station. The Bullet Train disconcerted me a little too as I was flung back in my seat when it accelerated out of the station. When a beautiful Geisha Girl smiled at me at the Asakusa Kannon Temple I actually blushed! Dave told me I couldn't afford her anyway. At Disneyland Tokyo I "yo-ho'd" with the Pirates of the Caribbean and "zippetydoodah'd" down Splash Mountain. Pam said whoever uttered the immortal words "in space no one can hear you scream" should ride with me on Space Mountain. I'm sure I don't know what she meant!

The whole holiday was amazing but best of all was the sponsorship I received from the 20,000 mile trip.
