Hurghada, Sunrise Select Garden Beach

Sunrise Select Garden Beach is nice. Not wonderful, but a very good holiday. Service good, staff friendly and very attentive. Only real criticism is that due to the size of the hotel, the main buffet restaurant felt like a works canteen. We ate mainly in the Oriental and Italian restaurants(which are still all included and you don't have to book in advance)and the food and atmosphere in those was excellent. The room was a good size and kept very, very clean.

What I do not like though is the need in Egypt for loud "Europop" to be played on the beach. I don't want to try and read and chill out to the backdrop of thumping music. We found that there were quiet spots on the beach, and actually the pool was suprisingly peaceful, and managed to relax and have a good time. For the price, this is an excellent, value-for-money hotel.
