arrived at malaga airport to find no car. phoned local number to find car gest car hire were no longer honouring bookings from rubbe.com as they had not been paid for two months.this company complete con just try there phone number and you will see there is no customer service. luckily for me credit card repaid my money.

Paid For Car Hire In Advance But No Car Materialis
Paid for car hire in advance but no car materialised at Athens airport. Rubbe.com has blamed local car hire firm but has not refunded any money and I am now trying to get my money back through the courts. Do not use this company unless you wish to lose your money.

Experienced Similar Problem, Went To Pick Up Car F
Experienced similar problem, went to pick up car from Sixt desk as instructed they refused the hire as Rubbe had not paid them. Had to hire and pay for a second car through a local car hire company. Have been unable to contact Rubbe or Decode(who took the payment). Am currently trying to claim back through my credit card. Have also sent email to BBC watchdog.

Booked car hire with Rubbe/Decode/Suncar Car Hire (BEWARE they trade under all 3 names) 8.3.10 at a cost of £958.09. They debited my husbands Paypal ac the same day. I rec'd an email from Rubbe 22.6.10 advising they had changed their payment system with the company who was supplying the car in Spain so we would need to pay for this reservation on arrival & they would refund our Paypal account. WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR THE REFUND. After numerous emails they just advise that we are one of many clients in a queue waiting for a refund & again they apologise for the inconvenience. I asked them to provide me with a copy of their Complaints Procedures after they told me they could not give the email address details of the company Managing Director so I could make my complaint to him/her. I was advised that they were not authorised to supply such details. Don't bother to try by telephone as it is just a recorded message. I googled this company & was appalled to find many, many more people in the same position. I emailed 5Live radio yesterday who have picked up on the fraudulent activity of this company, to give them details of our case & I have also emailed BBC's Watchdog programme. Please do the same if this has happened to you. THIS COMPANY IS STILL TRADING & IT MUST BE STOPPED. PLEASE ACT NOW.

Like the two other people we hired and paid for two vehicles in May for a holiday in August, two days before the holiday the friendly and helpful car hire company informed us that we would have to pay again on arrival as Rubbe.com haven't paid them for the vehicle hire and who is part of Decode Car Hire please check out their reviews, there's enough bad press on them to make your teeth curl.
Anyway, needless to say we still haven't got our refund back....the last email we were told they will refund it "at their first convenience".
Can't get hold of them on the phone, our next move is to pay them a visit at their offices in London, if there is such a thing!!!
Has anyone else had dealings with this company and been refunded???

I Have Never Written A Review Before Positive Or N
I have never written a review before positive or negative but I really felt I had to warn other Holiday Makers. I recently had a two week stay in Portugal I needed car hire and searched the Internet for the best deal. I came across Rubbe.com who searched car rentals and their rates seemed reasonable.
I booked paid by credit card and two weeks before I was due to leave they emailed me to say the car rental company had changed their policy and they would need to refund my money and we would pay the car hire company on arrival. I was sceptical however the car was there and we paid again the issue is we have not had our money back from Rubbe.com and this is now 6 weeks later the credit card company is persuing them for me. Be warned if you use this company you will end up paying twice for you car hire and they will not give you your money back. Not such a good deal after all.
I found this review very helpful because I am also trying to get a refund from Rubbe.com of £958.09 which they debited from my husbands Paypal account the day we booked the car on the 8th March 2010. We booked the hire car for the period 21st July 2010 to 24th August 2010. The email from Rubbe.com advising us that they have changed their payment system was sent 22nd June 2010 & as yet we have not had a refund.
I am now going to contact BBC's Watchdog programme regarding this matter so PLEASE people do the same & they may deal with this company on our behalf. I will check this site in a couple of days so please register your interest in approaching the BBC regarding this matter.

I normally always check the reviews before buying something and this time I didn't and it's a big mistake.
I have also booked a car on line in march 2010 & paied 605' and when we arrived in Spain I was very suprised and I have been informed that I needed to pay again 605' because the RUBBE CAR has never paid the car company SOLMARES in Spain.
In July 2010, we arrived late at night with 3 young kids and they have told us that we had no choices at all and they have made us pay once again 605'.
Until now, I haven't got my money back, we cannot get them on the phone and by email they reply by the same answer: "can assure you that you refund is first on the list to be refunded in the nearest time.
We apologize for inconveniences and delays".
And the last email from them was on the 10th September 2010:
I will inform you as soon as there are any updates. Until then, please, do not e-mail me several times per day as this is disturbing our work.

How can you call that a good Customer services ??? They have tols us not to disturb them anymore !!!!and they are not doing there job !!!!!!
What are we supposes to do now ?
I have got 2 kids and I don't earn that much money, what I want is my 605' back !!!!
Please pass on this message and do not rent from them if you do not want to be in the same situation as us.
