Unbelievably poor service! They‘ve been going downhill for years. The drivers are by and large okay, but will take the mist inconvenient routes, and more often than not seem to not have any clue about the area they‘re picking you up from, or driving you to. For all the drivers with signs waiting to pick up their passengers from Heathrow, AirportBee are not among them. That‘s because they arrive last minute. Unless your flight is delayed….then they‘re there, waiting and waiting…and either overcharging or taking the full fare whilst driving off. Avoid!!

This Company Is A Sham!!!!

This company is a SHAM!!! Airport Bee / Cheetah Ltd. Don't book with them!! I had the exact same experience as another reviewer where the company called me 4 days before our cab is scheduled and told me we owed 34 GBP more or they have to cancel the cab. It was also the same reason that there was a glitch on the website when booking so now I owed more. We booked specifically with this company 7 weeks ago because of the price and then they call me a few days before to charge more.  The guy on the phone was extremely rude as well and really upset me. So please DO NOT BOOK with this company, they are literal sham artists and will screw you over for a cab and charge you more last minute. I am just hoping the my money will come back on my card - you can guarantee I'll be back online for more complaining if they don't refund it quickly!!!!!

Avoid!!

Called me this morning (8 hours before they were meant to pick me up) and stated if I didn’t pay an extra £60 they were cancelling my booking. The guy on the phone was extremely rude and kept talking over me and wouldnt let me speak to a manager. Claimed it was a glitch in their website and the price was wrong so I have to pay more even though our booking has been confirmed for about 1.5 weeks.

Safe yourself any hassle and book someone else!

Late And Don’t Meet You At Gate

I have used Airport Bee for 10 years. Over the past two the service has become really bad. They are routinely late - sometimes more than 30 minutes - and force you to leave the terminal and travel with your bags to somewhere beyond the departure entrance. We will no longer use them in future and you should seriously reconsider this firm

Please Don’t Use

airport bee had been my go to for literally years. unfortunately it has taken a huge turn for the worse and now every single one of my trips with them is poor. i will never use them again.

i returned from holiday yesterday after booking a 14:45 transfer home with airport bee. despite my booking saying 14:45, they decided to take the time that the plane landed as my booking time instead and essentially set the timer from landing time on the 30 mins they give before they start charging you extra (!).

it landed 15 mins early which in my view is irrelevant…i booked you for 14:45, not 14:30. yet an extra 15 mins was added to my “late fees”. how that is even legal is beyond me when I explicitly booked them for 14:45.

on top of the £40 ish I’d already paid, I ended up being charged an extra £25 for the driver’s car park fees (yes…seriously) and for wait time.

an airport transfer business should be taking on the risk of extra wait times themselves, not charging the customer!

Not What It Once Was

I’ve used Airport Bee in the past — they were very good, polite, on time but that it no longer the case.

This time the driver refused to meet and greet my mother inside the airport according to the reservation, saying that parking costed too much and that we would pay extra for it.

30 minutes late for pick up on the way back. No apologies.

Disappointing

I've used Airport Bee before and it was fine. The driver today was aggressive and erratic. At one stage when a pedestrian abused him, he let fly with a tirade of foul language. Not an experience I wish to repeat.

Just Get An Uber

25 mins late, wanted an extra 50% to stop at 2 stops which were literally on the way. Really no point in using these guys just get an uber

My driver was very friendly and lovely to chat too.

He had been waiting at Gatwick airport for a couple of hours before I arrived as he had dropped off another passenger.

I would highly recommend this company and feel the rates are rather competitive.

Driver Inisisted On More Money That We Were Quoted

BE WARNED THAT YOU WILL BE CHARGED EXTRA THAN WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN QUOTED. We were quoted £44 for an airport transfer, and opted to pay cash because my online payment didn't go through. The driver arrived early so had to wait for a while for us to go through immigration. You would think that airport bee would know that it takes longer than 23 minutes to go through immigration at Heathrow when more than one international flight arrives at the same time.. We met up with our driver and he was nice albeit grizzly about having to wait so long. He proceeded to drive us to our destination and when we got there insisted that we pay him an additional £20 for parking charges and his time. This was not mentioned when we booked and I told him no that's not what we were quoted and showed him the email. He argued with us and not wanting to have a big argument on the street after a very long haul flight I just gave him the money. I emailed the company to complain but have never heard back. Honestly, other services are cheaper (in the end!) and better so don't waste your time and money on this lot.
