Supervisor made different price. Now say card will not run n may have to book all over again. More money. Big mistake. Never again.

Love It!

I absolutely love flying JetBlue. They have low fares, the flights are usually on time, and the service is great--there's always a free snack and drink too! The TV access in each seat is a lot of fun, and the one time that the service didn't work on a flight, the whole plane was given a credit. I was also given a credit for a late flight. Great customer service, and I'm sure to check them first when flying!

Jet Blue - Not Such Great Customer Service

My sister and I traveled round trip from Seattle to New York in September 2011 via Jet Blue. This was our first experience with this airline. It will also be our last.

Our return trip was scheduled for the morning of the 18th. We missed our flight literally by only a couple of minutes due to being held up in a restaurant about 200 feet away, waiting to pay our bill. In fact, the plane hadn't actually moved an inch yet. Unbeknownst to my sister and I, however, Jet Blue has a policy about closing the gate 10 minutes before takeoff. I arrived ahead of my sister, about 12 minutes before departure, but I would not get on the flight until she arrived in case she didn't get there before the 10 minute cutoff (she didn't).

That is not actually the cause of my dissatisfaction, though. We were late for our flight and we accepted responsibility for that. No, my issue is over the way we were subsequently treated by the staff.

The Jet Blue gate attendant was quite rude to me, even before I'd had a chance to finish my first sentence! When I arrived at the gate, I tried to inquire about the flight status (“closed”) that I was not expecting to see on the display screen, but before I had even finished my question, she interrupted me. In a very rude tone she said “Where have you been? Everyone’s already boarded and I’m closing the doors now.”

After I explained the situation she said she would not wait for my sister, she was closing the doors right then; there was nothing for us to do but make arrangements for the next flight to Seattle.

When my sister arrived a couple of minutes later, the attendant pointed across the aisle to a Jet Blue service desk. She told us to go there and see about getting seats on the next flight at 7:00 that evening.

The attendant at the service desk was not as rude to us in her tone, but nevertheless she managed to make things worse. She did put us on standby for the next flight, but made a point to tell us more than once that since it was already full we probably would not get on it. No one could guarantee we’d be able to get that flight, so we likely would have to wait for the next one after that.

Less than an hour later we each learned from different Jet Blue employees that the flight was actually nowhere near to being full!

Perhaps this might seem a small issue to some people – employees lying to a customer like that. Maybe you think “no harm, no foul.” After all, we would have been able to get on the flight anyway, so who cares if we were told otherwise?

The thing is, my sister and I were clearly distressed. I was quite obviously in tears. So how is it acceptable for a person in her position to lie like that to a customer who is already clearly upset and worried about getting home on time? Rather than aggravating the situation and making us even more worried, she should have been assuring us that there was plenty of room on the flight and our chances of getting on it were very high (which is what my sister and I were each told a short time later, in separate conversations with the Jet Blue call center).

Now here is where the greatest insult comes. As we were walking away from the service desk we happened to look back toward the first extremely rude Jet Blue attendant who was still standing by the gate – and she was clearly making eye contact with the desk attendant and they were laughing!

That would not be acceptable behavior from anyone, but the fact that they were Jet Blue employees from whom we should have received nothing but stellar service makes it even more offensive. As you may imagine, feeling extreme distress like that is unpleasant enough without the additional mockery and derision topping it off.

I sincerely wish I’d had the presence of mind to get these ladies’ names. However, I was so upset that it was the last thing on my mind at the time. I did try later to discover their names, both in person that day while waiting for the next flight and by phone after I arrived back home.

No one would provide that information.

I have since written two letters to Jet Blue and have not yet received anything close to a satisfactory response.

So if you choose Jet Blue, be aware that the two lovely ladies about to turn their attention on you may very well be the same awful, rude women who seemed to receive so much pleasure from my distress.

Jet Blue makes a point to advertise that their customer service goes above and beyond that of the average airline. That is simply not true in my experience. From now on, I will stick with my usual

Absolutely Love My Flights On Jetblue. The Staff

Absolutely love my flights on JetBlue. The staff are professional and friendly. There is plenty of leg room. My flights have always been on time. I also appreciate the help they gave me with my grandma who needed a little extra help to and from the gates. They were really patient and kind towards her.

I Flew Jetblue To Jfk From Lax Return Ticket In Oc

I flew JetBlue to JFK from LAX return ticket in October 2008. The flight itself was ok, met the exxpectations of a budget airline, no significant delays, etc.

However after waiting for an hour or so at JFK, my bag had not appeared - apparently it didnt make it onto the plane, although we had gotten to LAX 3 hours early.

JetBlue staff at the airport were unbelievably unhelpful, after a few hours they got my information and said they'd call me when they had some more information.

Every day for the first 4 days of our stay we called up JetBlue seeking information about my bag, every time we got on the phone to someone we got a different person, but all were in foul moods, and yelled at US! We even got hung up on multiple times.

Long story short, after spending the entire 4th day of our trip waiting by the door, we get a phone call at 10:00pm at night saying the driver is downstairs. My bag has finally arrived, covered in grease and damage. At this point, I was just happy to have a change of clothes.

No compensation from the airline whatsoever. This will be my first and last time with JetBlue.

Jet Blue is a 1st choice airline anytime they are an option! Very comfortable friendly service...more legroom in economy than I have ever experienced, great terminal at JFK airport, free wireless in JFK, Long Beach, and Oakland... and of course the TVs make the flight go by quicker than ever! Badpoints are no meals, but unlimited free snacks are good... they don't fly everywhere i want to go...

In General Jet Blue Has Everything A Successful Ai

In general Jet Blue has everything a successful airline that people always come back to. Except for their limited city stops I think they are almost perfect.
