Flobespan - 9 Hours Delay On The Way Back With Onl
flobespan - 9 hours delay on the way back with only a cold KFC given to us with a small drink. Ended up flying home in the middle of the night with very few warm clothes and they still tried to charge me £5.00 for a blanket for my children! No representative, information or care. I would never fly with this uncaring airline again.

I Booked Flights To Sanford In August 2008 For May
I booked flights to Sanford in August 2008 for May 2009. When I queried why the final balance had not been collected I was told it was due to flights changes that i was going to be advised about. That's when the real trouble started. To cut a VERY long story short they then changed my flights and dates THREE times causing me huge inconvenience and my wife and daughter a loss in wages. the way our original plans were set, we were due to fly out on 02 May and come back on 10 May. That meant taking 4 days off work as it was a Bank Holiday weekend. We ended up flying on 5 May and not returning until 14 May (early 15 may into Glasgow) meaning that I had to take 9 days off work instead. AND, I had to come back via Belfast!! To be fair, the flights were okay but the aircraft, a 767, was so old that the TV entertainment was a large projector onto a bulkhead. I will never fly with Globespan again as their customer service attitude is very poor. I see nothing but adverse commentary about them. I did not believe that at first but having gone through this experience, they really are not worth flying with.

Lost My Bag 9th May 2009 And Accept No Liability W
Lost my Bag 9th May 2009 and accept no liability what so ever have been told that they cant find the case anywhere in world must use destination airport to find bag. Called Globespan to ask them to assist - they washed their hands of the matter. Apart from flying home in a few days with them I will never book with them again. If you do loose your bag - sorry if Globespan or the ground handling team affiliated with Golbespan lose your bag and they do happen to find it and deliver it to you on holiday it is your responsibility to collect your bag from the airport - unbelievable - I paid £16 to fly my bag return to tenerife they cant find it and if they do it is my responsibility to go fetch it - disgusting. In this day and age when people need the business they should be bending over backwards to help. I will certianly never recomend them to anyone and never book with them again. Yours, very annoyed.

I Was Due To Fly To Orlando From Glasgow 12th May,
I was due to fly to Orlando from Glasgow 12th May, cancelled flight 2 days ago. Put us on a flight 15th May, tried to put my partner on flight coming home 1 day before me and my wee girl ridiculous. Then we got hit with bill of 400 pnds for changing our accommodation dates. We booked all this through First Choice, they phoned Globespan to get us all on same flight and to try get us some compensation. No chance, will never book Globespan again, will tell everybody what they did.

Flew From Glasgow To Vancouver 30th July (should H
Flew from Glasgow to Vancouver 30th July (should have been 30th actually flew 31st) after a 19 hour delay. Information/updates that should have been communicated to passengers was not given as promised by airport staff causing distress and upset to passengers. This could have been avoided and the siuation made easier if they just spoke to passengers instead of everyone being left in ignorance. This was not good customer service. I was sceptical in the first place due to the bad press I had read prior to travelling. We had already booked before this came to light but was optimistic with new management things would be getting better. This was not the case and think there should be a serious management restructure to get the airline back on track as it cannot possibly carry on the way it is currently.

5 Hour Delay On Palma-tees Valley Flight. Despite
5 hour delay on Palma-Tees Valley flight. Despite Palma airport information desk requesting Flyglobespan reps to attend depature gate, there was no sign of any reps, thus no explanations... just gate changes and check-in time delayed at hourly intervals. No offer of free food/refreshments at airport or on flight. Crew did not have any complaint/customer service forms on board "as they are an internet only company and have to use their web site". Accessing their web site shows contact only via snail-mail and they will not enter into any correspondence.

Check In Ahad A Very Long Queue - As They Seem To
Check in ahad a very long queue - as they seem to think 1 member of staff sufficient to check in a whole flight!
On board catering limited but sandwiches usually of reasonable quality. Service very slow however - centre of plane has to wait a long time for even a drink, as service starts from either end. In these seats, barely time to finish your snack before they are along again trying to clear food away, while either end of plane has had a leisurely time of it. Leg room in standard seats very tight.
Staff didnt have any info re delays or problems. Staff not available in foreign departure lounges, so once through security, you are unable to contact them until they show up to board. All of these problems would be almost expected if truly a "budget" i.e. cheap airline, but not acceptable when the prices are not , in fact, cheap, but comparable to those of large schedule airlines. With Globespan, you don't get what you pay for in my opinion. Their direct Edinburgh-Nice route now has competition from Easyjet, so we will wait to see if standards improve or fall further.

Good Value For Money. Can't Really Complain. How
Good value for money. Can't really complain. However, I think we landed lucky in that the hotel was good and the location was good. You get what you pay for. I would definitely use them again but not for my main summer holiday.

The Flight Was Delayed For 2 Hours With No Explana
The flight was delayed for 2 hours with no explanation or up to date information as to when it would leave. The only reason I knew it was boarding was because I recognized people from the check in desk heading for a gate. Globespan have no ground staff at Bareclona Intl Airport and no announcement was made for the flight. The staff on the plane didnt look at all happy when I dared to ask what time the flight was due into Edinburgh.
Then, when we finally got near the airport we couldnt land due to fog apparently, i didn't see any. In the baggage hall they told us there would be a delay with baggage because one of the vehocules used to transport it had broken down. Other passengers from another flight that landed later got their luggage before us so i dont believe that. Will never fly with then again not matter how cheap they are.
