Good prices, nice helpful air hostesses, decent flght schdules. Poor vegetarian food, uncomfortable seating so I chose aisle seat at online checkin. Im just glad my flights are only 3 1/2 hrs, as any longer even aisle seats don't help.

Delayed Baggage

Our baggage was delayed and we were not informed for over 24 hours about whether it had been even loaded on the flight. They ask us to complain and track through a witld wide service who also had no update from Aegean airlines for over 24 hours. Extremely irresponsible flight. Our flight was from Thessaloniki to Frankfurt. Its been 24 hours and no one seems to know where our luggagd is

Price Checker

Dont bother using their low price checker. I did and booked to find less than 24 hour later the ticket had been reduced by £50. And my price paid was more than club class.

Customer services is a joke dont want to know.And wont even upgrade.

Try To Avoid

I booked a flight from Stuttgart to Athens by using my miles. I booked a business class ticket but due to lack of space they told me that I have to fly in economy class. Hence of they offered a free ticket to use it for a similar flight at the future. Since that date I’m struggling to exchange this “free” ticket as they are not willing to redeem the free ticket with the excuse that there is no availability. I submitted my request for at least 10 different dates and still they don’t have any available seat for this type of free ticket even if it is available to buy it at the web site. It a pity for them and I WILL TRY TO AVOID THEM IN CASE OF ANY ALTERNATIVE WAY TO FLY.

THIS IS MY STORY I TRIED TO CONTACT THE CUSTOMER CARE DEPT/SALES DEPT/COMPLAINTS DEPT

WITH NO JOY AT ALL ONCE THEY GOT YOUR MONEY THEY DONT CARE AT ALL

THEY HAVE A LIST OF COMPLAINTS ON THE NET AND FACEBOOK ETC.... AS LONG AS YOUR ARM YOU NEED DAYS TO READ THEM ALL

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME

Dear Customer Service,

Reference: A3 603 and A3 608

I have contacted your customer services team with my complaint, but have not yet received any form of response.

Therefore I am following up my original letter in the hope that we can achieve a resolution. As I am sure you understand, the situation as it stands is very frustrating and I would be really grateful if we could move forwards towards a solution.

What happened: i have booked flights from London to Athens 03/August and 28/August return

On the understanding that a small little dog will travel with us on board the outgoing journey was probably Ok they will not book you until you bought your tickets I agreed to that and went and purchase the tickets through a very reputable company Bath Travel

Tried to call Aegean to book the little dog in which the price quoted in the web site for Europe is £ 30 each way and confirmed by Aegean and bath travel

Suddenly I had a shock when Aegean said that you can not take the dog on board the cabin it's go to go by Cargo in which I was not very happy but this is the Law in the UK and I agreed

I received an e mail from Aegean Cargo quoting me for another 600 Euros which I have not been told until yesterday and it's not on the price list

I paid £ 1.300 plus another 170 for the luggage and I am not paying another 600 euros because they said so and not published anywhere after all they quote me as described £ 30 each way

I then decided to cancel the tickets and get a refund I called an 0781 number which is a premium number advertised which costs 0.50 p per minute no need to say how long they kept me to tell

Me that the tickets if bought from them could be refunded less 20 euros each

I went to the travel agent they called them and guess what?

The tickets are not refundable

I am very upset that they spoiled our holiday and have the intention in writing and complain to the Ombudsmen in Brussels

They should inform the passengers before of all the cost and not oblige you to buy the tickets and then give you all this hassle

Reimbursement Delayed And Not Complete

I had a flight from Izmir to Athens with Aegean.

In Izmir airport they asked me to pay for my luggage 35 euros. The thing is that I had already booked and pay for this luggage, but simply they couldn't see it in their system. When I asked for reimbursement in Athens airport, they told me that I have to do it by mail through the customer service. OK. They finally send the money back after 1 month. Not only they didn't provide any extra compensation for the time I lost at the airport and from my job, chasing the issue, but guess what.... they choose to charge me the bank transfer fees... So finally I took 4 euros less.

It is not about the money since we are talking about small amounts. It is about the service and the weight of the company. They prefer to keep a frequent flyer and customer unhappy than handle the charges of the bank transaction.

Fundamentally Dishonest Customer Service

They tried to make me pay more to change a flight date than the cost of booking a fresh ticket. Their customer service is consistently despicable.

The Worst In The Industry!

I commited the big mistake to fly from Rome to Athens on Nov. 24,2014 (duration 1h 40min)with Aegean. They charged me an extra amount of euros 35 for a small handbag of 6 (yes 6!) kilos which they refused to let me have it in the cabin. The worst in the industry ever! Avoid them by any means!

I went to Aegean air web site to get a price for air fare to Athen , Greece. It was dream of mine I saved and saved for while I was on there site and they asked if I wanted to price out a room also I said yes I picked Royal Olympic for its reputation since my airfare was for nine days when they gave me a price it was for nine days when I realized that what they did I hit the canceled button. then sent out many email to both sites to please canceled or call me I figure it was canceled because that is what it said on the site . They charged my credit card and will not return my money.Anyway when I contact the company they explain even though they know I never used the rooms and I canceled it immediately they will not return my money said it wasn't cancelable it was a mistake I only wanted a price I asked please to return my money since I don't have a lot and the have much they i do .....but they won't I feel the took advantage of me and will not the right thing to resolve this .

I ask the airline to help me too that's a lot of money to lose

Flight Cancellation- Half Of The Passengers Are Informed Etc

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am sending you this email to kindly discuss about an issue and advise me for any potential solutions please. First of all, we had booked our holiday to Abu Dhabi with Aegean Airlines from 21st till 28th of November, as my family and I usual fly with Aegean. Our fight was cancelled offering the alternative option of Etihad airlines. Out of the 3 separate bookings, I was the only one informed via email for the cancellation; if were not I, my parents would not have been informed. They have not received any email (no information sent to them-huge disappointment from Aegean, a member of Star Alliance)

Secondly, your alternative choice in regards to our return is on 28th November in the morning. Whereas, in our original booking we were about to leave Abu Dhabi on 28th November midnight. Hence, we are loosing a day of our holiday plus the late check out that we have already paid extra to the hotel and the excursions that we have arranged on this day (2nd disappointment and loss of money). Other option, to leave Abu Dhabi on 29th November which means to pay more money, an extra night at the hotel etc etc. Last but not least, as I mentioned on the beginning, we trust Aegean and we do have concerns about Etihad Airlines, that we have not heard about it ever before.

I am looking forward to your response, assuring the safety of this flight company as well as what you may suggest us for the inconvenience caused.
