Worst Travel Agency Avoid
I have used this travel agent for years. The new staff now are awful. Especially the guy.
Firstly I paid for a premium tickets he initially sold me economy until I asked him why he said that It was economy he thought I paid for took him weeks to rectify. Secondly my son couldn't travel because he was covid positive. He offered to keep the ticket opened for a year. But still he couldn't travel I decided to ask for a refund if which he only refunded £393 out if a ticket of £693. And he took months before I could get the refund. Please avoid him. I have decided to be buying directly from the airline after after almost 15years if patronising this travel agent. I even introduce a friend to him it cost her and her family £3000 as they couldn't travel due to covid.

Worst Service
I used to think their service was good but an agent is a waste of space. I booked one of their flight offers and paid a deposit. This was on 4th Jan, I was told would received email soon after the conversation to confirm what I had booked and the balance to be paid. Nothing came thg. I phoned everyday and left messages and no one got back to me. Finally spoke to that agent on the 12th who just sent a computer generated email with only the itinerary but no mention of the fare quoted or deposit paid and balance to pay, I tried calling again and no luck or call back or reply to my email. My balance was due to be paid on the 31st Jan. On the 27th I phoned to pay the balance and I was told a completely different fare. I explained what he had quoted and the deposit I had paid but he didn't even listen. He knew because he had not sent me the email to back myself up I had no leg to stand on. I had to cancel the booking and couldn't get my deposit back. He was so arrogant and showed no remorse at all that he did t his job properly. He is so unprofessional and stay away from them andrun with your money. It's not worth the hussle. Very unprofessional service.
Terrible Service Once They Have Your Money
I found their website on line and they had good prices so we called them up and to we spoke to a very helpful agent. We paid a deposit of £150. We was expecting a receipt and flight itinerary but nothing arrived I called up and spoke to agent who said he was working at the weekend and would get it sent out then. Monday morning still no receipt so I called the agents direct number and he did not answe. I rang the office number and spoke to a supposed supervisor who said he would get my agent to call me. When he called he was very rude and said he didnt feel comfortable going ahead with the transaction so was cancelling our deal.....WHAT! I couldn't believe my ears. Anyway they promised a refund but im still waiting. Avoid at all costs.
Rude Manners
Looking at some good reviews here, these sounds so generic that make be believe that these have been placed by their own employees :-), looking at these only I thought to give them a call for 4 flight tickets, after the quote I politely told him to let me discuss within family about dates etc and guy on other side hung up phone on my face after saying that you are not serious about booking tickets. Now I will never call them again in my whole life and spread this story to as much people as possible.
They did not deserve even single start for such a pathetic customer service, but this web site does not have an option of ZERO star.

Thanks to Travelhouse especially SEAN who dealt with me during my booking who acted diligentely and in a professional way. I will definately call again for my future travels and will definately pass on the message to friends and family. Sean was really briliant when dealing with me and felt as if I was the only customer, thanks for that Sean!
Worst Company Ever!
I got in touch with Travelhouse on behalf of a student of mine, who was concerned about the legitimacy of the website and th company. He had made san initial enquiry and started the process of booking but got cold feet because of the way in which the customer service operative was spekaing to him, including some very inappropriate questions. I spoke to the same man - Andy - and he was without doubt the rudest man I have ever had dealings with. I spoke with someone else - Tony - who apologised for the way we had been dealt with and assured me that Andy would be dealt with and that the boking was cancelled. Andy then called my student 5 times on his mobile so I contacted them again to complain and was dealt with by Victor who contradicted everything I had been told by Tony and insisted on receiving an email confirmation, spouting so called legalities and failing to listen or dealing with anything I had to say. And all this regarding a booking made by a yong man of 17 who apparently shouldn't have been alowed to book himself anyway, despite the fact he gave his date of birth!
I have never encountered such rude staff and there was clearly an attempt to buly this confused student into parting with his money regardless of age or suitability.

Unbeliveable Travel House Is Unbelievable
was trying to book a ticket to africa when l spoke to Jason he was very unhelful never called me when he said he will call regarding flights fares everytime l tried to call him his phone was forever engaged, when l finally got through he told me am not the only customer he was dealing with he then tried to force me in buying a ticket that he knew the airline was always on strike and said its either l book with them as he cant find any other airline, WTF???? he was a joke really and he said they wouldnt refund me the money but why force me into buying a ticket you know the airline is on strike seriously and you call that customer service, and not one person is willing to help and some of their numbers on their website dont work and am beginning to think this is not a genuine website it feels like a scam to be honest.
how can some one force you to book a flight,you sound like it was your temptation to book with the company or the so called individual,because your comments seem to be you prebooking experience,where you are dying to book the flights inspite of any hurdles,wake up u grumpy sole

Excellent Service
I needed to get my wife back to South Africa as quickly as possible, I phoned Mike Schniezer who was fantastic and called me back promptly with flight details. Great customer service and excellent value for money. I would definately recommend Travelhouse to friends and family.
