Travel Access

Well....where should I start?? I had previously booked with this agency a few years ago and everything was fine, funny how different that experience was this time round. After speaking to a representative at length, I was emailed a quation with the agreed dates with a condition that the price would be valid with an immediate payment, which I did.

....and this is where the problem started. After giving the agency a grace period of a few days to receive my confirmation, I decided to call where I was assured I would receive it by the end of the day. Twelve days later after numerous of calls coupled with excuses given as to why I still had not received my confirmation e.g, the airline had not released the tickets, on the phone to a client/airline and therefore the representative could not come to the phone. I then decided to phone the airline...ahhh 'shock on me' no reservation or booking had been done.

I called the agency back where I was assured that it was the airlines error and I was definately booked in. PANIC!!! I was four weeks away from travelling and at this rate was going nowhere. To cut the story short I was finally told that I wasn't booked in because the airline was asking for too much money, but I could wait till the evening to get booked in or go on another flight/airline different date which I went for as I wasn't sure how long or if at all I would get my money back.

P.S - The agent called me back asking for more money as he had apparently spent more on my second flight...imagine my shock!!!
