The Worse Vacation Package Of My Life By Far
The worse vacation package of my life by far.
I took my long term partner on a 5 star "all inclusive" vacation package for 9 days.
1rst, we we not told about the new E tickets requirement to enter the Dominican republic, which cause a delay that made us miss our flight departure. After calling customer service, we never got an apology or any type of compensation what's so ever, all that to being told after two hours of being transferred several time and having two call backs, that they were not going t help us out and hang up on me. "I've recorded everything".
2nd, the next day, got the E ticket, got on the plane, and got to the republics. To realize there was no one from Priceline to direct us to our transportation to the hotel. To realize that there was NO Transportation Provided To the Hotel. So, we had to find a taxi and fight off several taxi drivers trying to take off with our luggage, till police came to stop them from fighting among themselves. All that to finally being over charged and being thrown on a small rundown bus from the "our airline".
3rd, extending our stay.
This was an ordeal experience of about two days of phone calls of calling the airline and Priceline back and forth just for the airline tickets. Since we missed our first flight they cancelled our return flight. Now it had to be reactivated and reopen to change the date. I did spend a good 8 hours of my vacation on the phone just for this. RIDICULOUS.
Anyway, there was other things, but I have already wasted way to much time with them already.
I have booked several hotels and several flights with them in the past with no trouble, but for ANY all inclusive packages, I Will Stay Away from them.
This Company Is Trash Now
I was going on a conference trip to Africa and started to feel sick and have pains after getting off my first flight hours before getting on my next one. I called to switch my ticket to another flight the next day which was available but the only customer service I was able to reach was these people do not understand anything and refused to listen to what issue was but instead sent me to different areas and after being on the phone for 5 hours they refused to get me a ticket due to it being past the time. Do not use them I use to be a big fan since college but never had such terrible customer service and lack of comprehension. we will not use them personally or for the business anymore.
Got A Great Deal On Car Hire Straight From Perth Airport!
I have used priceline before in the states to find a good value for money hotel.
This is the first time I used them for car hire and was impressed! I originally did a google search and found them and tried to get a deal on a 20 day car hire.
They were actually the cheapest and also able to pick it up directly from the airport! It was one of those hidden deals, but in fact was a Avis/Budget deal and only cost $12USD per day!
I didn't take up their insurance options and instead have an annual private policy which saves me loads of money on car hire insurance.
The best thing was it was very simple to reserve the car via their mobile site. The real winner was able to book or reserve the vehicle without actually giving my credit card details. I simply filled in the form and then entered my email and bingo I reserved the car!
When I arrived at the airport, the check in process was easy and then paid via my credit card.
Would use price line again to hire a car in Australia

Do Not Use For London!
I've booked priceline a few times for trips to the US and always been reasonably pleased with what I ended up with. I recently purchased a name your price deal for a business trip to London. I booked it weeks in advance and when I got there I was informed there was no booking in my name, I was told to go to another hotel in their chain and had to pay for a scummy single room for me and a colleague. When I called priceline the hotel then refunded the money for the single room and I was left with the original charge which was supposed to be for a double room. So £62 over the £172 I paid for the original hotel. I called numerous times and eventually was hung up on by the top level of support. Their service is unacceptable! And it seems only really bad hotels in London use them so DO NOT USE FOR LONDON!

Don't Use This Company!!!
We booked a car for our trip to Cancun through Priceline. When my family arrived in Cancun, there was no one on site to pick us up. I called the company 3 times to pick us up at the airport. The picked us up and took us to their business away from the airport on a sketchy road. We booked a car the size of a Corolla, but conveniently they were out if that size. They wanted to put us in a car the size of a Honda Fit unless we paid for an upgrade. Additionally, they said we had to purchase liability insurance which was $130 and non refundable. If that was not enough they made us give them a $700 deposit for the car. Upon returning the car, they held only the deposit while they figured out how much to charge us for the car remote that did not work. This was suppose to cost us about $100, but ended up costing us $1000. For your financial safety do not use this company. We are in the process of diluting the charges with our credit card company.
